Remnant 2: How To Get Dark Matter Gauntlets Weapon | The Dark Horizon DLC

In Remnant 2’s Dark Horizon DLC, the Dark Matter Gauntlets are a powerful weapon you won’t want to miss. To acquire them, you must face formidable bosses, destroy crystals, and collect rare materials. In my guide, I’ll walk you through each step of the process — from navigating the maps to crafting the Dark Matter Gauntlets. If you’re having a hard time finding it, don’t worry, I’ll break down everything you need to know to add this epic weapon to your arsenal.

How To Get Dark Matter Gauntlets Weapon | The Dark Horizon DLC

In order to acquire the Dark Matter Gauntlets and its upgrades in the Dark Horizon DLC of the game, you’ll have to complete the following objectives. I’ll cover them and provide you with the details, so you can follow:

1. Defeat 2 Bosses & destroy 2 Crystals at the end of each boss fight (Maps will be random; you’ll just have to play through).
2. Defeat the Main Boss in The Convergence map (Alepsis-Taura) and acquire the Black Mass dropped by the boss.
3. After acquiring the Black Mass, you’ll then have to go back to Ava McCabe and provide the necessary materials to craft the Dark Matter Gauntlets weapon.

Destroying 1st Crystal & Location

NOTE: The maps are randomized, and it’ll not matter where you start, you’ll end up in The Convergence no matter what. I’m not sure if the Crystals will appear on all the dungeons, but for this guide and my case — It appeared in the Propagation Field and Withered Necropolis in N’erud.

After arriving at the first map (in my case Propagation Field in N’erud), look around and follow the light as shown in the image below. You may have to use drones and fly around the area but make sure you move towards the light.

Following the light will eventually lead you to the Boss Area of the map. After defeating the area’s boss, destroy (or at least attempt to) the 1st Crystal. Use the portal to move to the next map.

Destroying 2nd Crystal & Location

In my case, the next map is Withered Necropolis (it could be different for you). Like before, follow the light and reach the map’s boss area — You’ll then have to destroy the 2nd Crystal. Doing so will reveal a cutscene and you can proceed to the next map.

Defeating The Boss & Getting Black Mass

Finally, you’ll end up in The Convergence. Defeat the Main Boss of the area, Alepsis-Taura and you’ll get the Black Mass as well as other loots.

Crafting & Upgrading Dark Matter Gauntlets

After fetching the Black Mass, make your way back to Ward 13 and proceed to Ava McCabe. She’ll craft the Dark Matter Gauntlets for you by providing an additional 7 Lumenite Crystals and 1000 Scraps.

As for the upgrades, proceed to Don “Rigs” Rigler. Although you’ll have to give him 15 Iron, 2 Lumenite Crystals & 600 Scrap.

Claim The Gauntlets!
