Genshin Impact: Finish the Duel with Liliuo Guide | Pilgrimage of the Return of the Sacred Flame

“Finish the Duel with Liliuo” is practically your final objective for the “Pilgrimage of the Return of the Sacred Flame” quest in Genshin Impact.

Liliuo is the last enemy Kachina must defeat before she can take on the finals of the Pilgrimage of the Return of the Sacred Flame. Help her defeat this foe and she’ll prove herself capable of fighting in the Night Warden Wars!

Finish the Duel with Liliuo | Pilgrimage of the Return of the Sacred Flame Quest Guide

The objective to “Finish the Duel with Liliou” starts automatically after you defeat Nkunga during The Pilgrimage of the Return of the Sacred Flame. You don’t get a break or any prep time for the fight! Though, to be frank, you shouldn’t need it.

Lilliuo is a fairly easy enemy for the most part. She’ll spam Cryo projectiles at you, but Kachina should be able to survive them easily. Use your Elemental Skill whenever it’s ready to ride or summon Turbo Twirly and deal high damage. Otherwise, we recommend using Charged Normal Attacks often as they allow Kachina to stay mobile while dealing damage.

Once you get Liliuo to about 75% HP, she will float between the pillars by the entrance to the arena and start raining down Cryo projectiles. Avoid the blast zones marked on the ground and make your way to the top of the pillars by using Kachina’s Turbo Twirly.

When you get to the top of the pillars, break one of the ice crystals that Liliuo summoned to make her fall back to the arena. This will also deal huge damage to her! The strategy after breaking the ice crystals is pretty much the same, Liliuo doesn’t learn any noteworthy new tricks.

As soon as Liliuo gets to around 25% HP, she will summon a gigantic pillar in the middle of the arena. Use Kachina’s Turbo Twirly once again to climb the pillar and reach Liliuo at the top of the platform.

Deal damage to Liliuo at the top of the pillar and a cutscene will start. Congratulations, Kachina won! Not only did you finish the duel with Liliuo in Genshin Impact, but you also practically finished the “Pilgrimage of the Return of the Sacred Flame” quest. You just need to watch the remaining scenes unfold!
