The Settlers of Kalguur expansion is out now for POE (Path of Exile) and it lets you manage the new town of Kingsmarch, but you’ll need to know how to add gold to its treasury to keep the workers happy.

The town of Kingsmarch relies on the work of its people, after all. They’ll gather resources and help around town, but only as long as you pay their wages. Keep the treasury full of gold so you have enough to pay them!

In this short guide, we’ll tell you everything you need to know to add gold to Kingsmarch’s treasury.

How to Add Gold to Treasury | Path of Exile: Settlers of Kalguur

Johan the King's Hand

You can add gold to your town’s treasury at any time by talking to Johan, the King’s Hand. He’s always on the building in the northern corner of the new Kingsmarch town, as shown above, so he’s hard to miss!

If you’ve yet to unlock Kingsmarch, you simply need to keep playing through the game’s main story. It will unlock instantly once you reach Lioneye’s Watch in Act 1.

Treasury Gold and Add button

While talking with Johan, choose “Manage Town” to bring up the Kingsmarch management interface. You can see your Treasury Gold in the top left corner of the screen and you can simply click on “Add” there.

Current Wages

Once you’ve added gold to the Kingsmarch treasury, you will see how much you pay the workers in hourly wages. This will also let you know how long you have before your treasury runs dry, so make sure to add more gold to pay your workers! It’s particularly important if you want them to gather resources, such as mining Crimson Iron Ore.

But well, there you have it, that’s all you need to know to add gold to the Kingsmarch treasury in the new Settlers of Kalguur expansion for POE. Make sure to keep the treasury full so that you can pay your workers, or they’ll stop working altogether.

Venezuelan gamer cursed by being interested by most games, resulting in a ridiculous backlog he’ll never be able to conquer. Been gaming for over two decades now! Few things exemplify his wide variety in gaming tastes as the fact that he’s a big fan of both Souls games and the Atelier series at the same time. Also a big fan of Yakuza/Like a Dragon, Deadly Premonition, Zero Escape, and Dead Rising, among others. Considers Lost Judgment and Sekiro to both be masterpieces.
