Pax Dei is an online open world sandbox which is currently available as Early Access on Steam. Since the game is made in Unreal Engine 5, it has pretty decent graphics. And pair that with the vast open world it offers, you are in for an experience!
Granite is one of the many resources that you can find in the open world of Pax Dei. It is used in various carpentry projects such as Bread Oven, Grain Mill, Craftsman Cooking Hearth, Basic Cooking Workbench, etc. This guide will show you the locations and mining requirements for getting Granite.
Where to Find Granite
Before I dive into the topic, let me make a quick note. If you haven’t used magic in the game yet then you are missing out big time. If that got your attention, then give this short guide a quick read: Pax Dei: How To Get Magic.
Now to get back to finding Granite. You will be able to find Granite deposits in areas thatare Dark Gray or Dark Brown in color. But before you try to get Granite, make sure you have the right tool.
Pickaxe requirement for mining Granite Deposits
You can not mine Graphite deposit with the standard pickaxe because it is more sturdier in nature. To mine it, you will need an iron pickaxe (or something better).
You can craft an iron pickaxe at the Basic Weaponsmith Workbench (tier 1) or the Weaponsmith Workbench (tier 3). And you will need 1 Long Wood Stock and 2 Iron Bar to craft 1 iron pickaxe.
If you do not have any iron bars then you need to get some iron ingots for that. And to get that, you need to mine iron deposits (which you can do with the standard pickaxe). To help you out with that, check this guide out: Pax Dei: Where to Find Iron | Impure Node.
