As you progress through Wuthering Waves and defeat more enemies, you will gain XP towards your Union Level. Union Level is the main way in which Wuthering Waves measures your progress. All players will want to increase their Union Levels, as higher levels mean better rewards.
The only major drawback of your Union Level increasing is harder enemies. In most cases, this won’t be an issue, but it can become one if you are looking to try out new low level Resonators. All of your Resonators in Wuthering Waves will have their own level attached to them. New Resonators will start at level 1, and to level them up, you will need to commit some valuable resources and a lot of your time.
Before you do that though, you will want to be sure that the Resonator you commit so many resources into is to your liking, and the only reliable way to do that is by trying them out.
How To Try Out Low Level Resonators
The best way to try out new Resonators is through the game’s Path of Growth feature. You can view all the Resonators that you have unlocked so far, and try out any of them. You can find the Path of Growth menu through your Guidebook. To start a training, all you have to do is click Proceed next to any character that you want to try out.
The Skill Training will take you through the whole kit of the character you choose. From heavy attacks to Resonance Liberation, it will help you get familiar with all the basics of the character. Understanding and trying out a Resonator’s full kit will help you decide if they suit the way you play the game.
Once you complete the Skill Training, you will get rewarded for your efforts with a bunch of rewards. These rewards include Astrite, the most valuable currency in Wuthering Waves. You can of course start a simulation with them again, but it will not earn you any rewards.
When played correctly, every Resonator in Wuthering Waves is extremely viable. Try out all the Resonators you have and find the one that suits your playstyle the most. You never know, the Resonator that you least expect to like might end up becoming your favorite.
