However, they are from opposing tribes! You’ll need to progress in a very specific way if you wish to recruit all of them in a single playthrough.
In this guide, we’ll tell you how to get both Miao Caidie and the Melody House girls at the same time.
How To Recruit and Marry Miao Caidie and Melody House Girls in One Playthrough
NOTE: Getting both Miao Caidie and the Melody House girls requires you to use an exploit related to combat.
It works as of this writing, but it could be patched out in the future.
If you don’t mind the exploit usage, though, you’ll need to start the process by meeting Miao Caidie in Lin’an City. You can either choose to scare her or complete the quest for the Poison Lady at the Lin’an City Inn.
Either way, you just need Miao Caidie to leave for the Jiuli Tribe.
Next, go to the Deserted Courtyard in the Southwest Region. You’ll see a scene involving the Jiuli Tribe and the Melody House.
When given the option, choose to side with neither to learn the location of both of their headquarters.
Now, you’ll need to go to the Jiuli Tribe and use the combat exploit to enter.
How To Access The Jiuli Tribe With The Combat Exploit
The easiest way to do this trick is to make sure that you have no one else in your party, then approach the Jiuli Tribe entrance.
Sneak around and stay just outside of the view of the guards, which is shown by the red squares.
Then, activate Battle mode manually by pressing the battle button at the bottom of the screen. Now, the trick varies a bit depending on your movement range.
If you have high movement range, just walk behind the guard to the left and retreat from battle. The guards shouldn’t be alerted, and you’ll be out of combat inside the Jiuli Tribe.
If you have a low movement range, things get slightly trickier. You’ll need to end your turn near the guard, and he’ll most likely notice you and become aggressive at this point.
After that, you should avoid him and move outside of the battle’s boundaries to retreat. You can make the boundaries visible by clicking the eye icon on the top right of the screen!
Either way, you’ll now be free to walk around inside the Jiuli Tribe. However, you’ll need to use this method every single time you want to enter the tribe’s headquarters!
Meeting Miao Caidie and the Melody House Girls
Now that you’ve infiltrated the Jiuli Tribe, you just need to find Miao Caidie and speak with her. Then, talk to the Jiuli Tribe Leader and max out your relationship with them with gifts.
However, make sure to avoid doing any quests for the Jiuli Tribe leader.
When your relationships are maxed out, leave the Jiuli Tribe and go to the Melody House.
Just like with the Jiuli Tribe, you’ll need to use the combat exploit to enter the Melody House. It works the exact same way, so you already know what to do!
Once inside the Melody House, you’ll get a quest to save the Melody House girls. Accept and complete the quest, then you will be told to come back to the house in 3 days.
Just as before, you’ll still need to use the combat exploit! Also, you can’t go inside of the actual house itself. Instead, you need to wait until night for the girls to go out into the forest.
Meet all of the Melody House girls in the forest and give them gifts until you max out your relationships.
When you’re done with the Melody House, return to the Jiuli Tribe and marry Miao Caidie. This will make the Jiuli Tribe hostile to you, but you’ll already have Miao Caidie with you anyway!
Lastly, go back to the Melody House and you’ll get a quest to rescue Yu’Wei and continue through the rest of the Melody House questline.
Accept these quests and complete the questline and you’ll be able to marry all of the Melody House girls!
So there you have it, you’ve now united these warring tribes as part of your harem.
