Resident Evil 4 Remake: How to Catch a Big Fish

Resident Evil 4 Remake gives you a bunch of tasks and challenges that you have to do in order to progress with the main story.

Meanwhile, some are just made for side quests and extra adventures. As you reach Chapter 4, you will get across a big lake where you will be doing the Catch a Big Fish request.

Catching a Big Fish in Resident Evil 4

You can start the Catch a Big Fish request once you obtain the Blue Request Note. This can be found in the northern area of the Lakeside Settlement inside the cave.

You can get the note by opening the gate using the Insignia Key.

Catching the Lunker Bass

To find the location of the big fish which is the Lunker Bass, you have to ride a boat and go to the southern side of the lake. This is the same lake where you’ll encounter the Del Lago lake monster.

From there, you will see a black shadow from underwater. Use the boat’s harpoon and throw it at the fish to catch it.

Once you have targeted it perfectly, you will instantly see the body of the fish flipping over.

Move the boat next to the dead fish’s body to pick it up. Once you have the big fish, you will have to make enough space in your inventory case to put it in your storage.

Return to the Merchant

Find your way back to the merchant and sell the big fish to him. Simply access your case and look for the fish.

Upon selling this to the merchant, he will pay you 5,000 worth of coins.
