Black Desert Online is one of the most popular and successful MMORPGs in activity. New expansions keep coming to the game years after its original release, pleasing old fans and inviting new ones. Whether you’re a veteran or a newcomer, you might be wondering how to make money in the game. Well, how about making millions?!
Black Desert Online – Tool Workshop Guide For Making Millions
Basically, this technique involves gathering all the materials you collect in Pilgrim’s Mine (or make your workers collect for you) and using them in the Tool Workshop.
So, if you haven’t done it yet, you’ll have to set up a Tool Workshop, which can be easily done in pretty much any region of your liking.
You’ll need to rent those using Contribution Points. Tool Workshops take a lot of storage space and materials to forge the tools, so keep that in mind when choosing your location.
It’s also important to note that you’ll need materials and workers, and for the workshop to work, you’ll need to store the items in the same town the Worker originates. The workshop, however, can be anywhere as long as they’re connected through nodes.
Now that you have your Tool Workshop set up, you’ll need workers, the bread and butter of your workshop. Higher-grade workers will get better skills and, in turn, reduce the time needed to craft as well as have a chance of returning the material used.
The race of the worker matters as much as their level.
You can choose three categories: Giants (work for longer and need less food but are slower, great for AFK play), Goblins (require the most food and attention but are fantastic for smaller jobs such as the Tool Workshop), and Humans (good middle-ground between the other two).
There are regions where you might not be able to find Goblins, having to resort to Dwarves and Giants. In this case, there are skills that can help by reducing crafting time—workers learn skills randomly, but they can be changed.
The first way to change skills is to promote a worker, which will give them better stats and reset their skills to learn better ones.
The other way is to level them up to level 30 and increase the experience up to 100%. It will cost you 50% experience to change the skill, but you can choose whichever you want.
Skills you want to look out for include Tool Knowledge (crafting work speed +5) and work speed skills like Simple B, Adept Worker, and Worker Supervisor (but don’t bother with Craftmanship when using level 30 workers).
Two other skills to pay attention to are refund skills like Thrifty and Unexpected Luck.
By following those steps, you can produce hundreds of tools that will reward you with money when sold. And while there are great tools in various categories, the Alchemy and Cooking Utensils are fantastic for Central Market.
In short, while the Tool Workshop alone won’t make you the richest player in Black Desert Online, when put to good use, it’s a great element to accumulate money while you’re out there, performing other activities!
