The must-awaited farming simulator game, Coral Islands, is said to contain many activities aside from the usual family mini-game we are familiar with these types of games.
Players can participate in community events and projects, but a recent clip has surfaced that players can also fish in the game. Fishing in farming sims gives players an additional means of income and to look for rare fish for achievements.
Let’s take an early look into Coral Island’s fishing and look for early tips we can get to master the Fishing Mechanics. Let’s get started.
Coral Island Fishing Guide
Developers have recently released a clip regarding the fishing mechanics in Coral Island.
To throw a fishing line, click and hold to cast the line. There 3 types of how far or deep you can throw the line. Depending on whether it’s 1, 2, or 3 can most likely determine this. It will appear above the player’s head once the animation starts.
Depending on where released, you can catch a variety of different fishes. Fishing in deeper shallow waters will most likely land you the shallow fish types.
While fishing, the fish shadow will just appear by itself rather than the player actively looking for itself, similar to Stardew Valley’s fishing mechanics.
Once the shadow appears, click to trigger the catching mini-game. You need to fill up the bar all the way to the check mark. It involves controlling the pressure and making sure you reach the finish to catch the fish.
This is a positive mechanic since providing a fishing mini-game adds fun to the game while at the same time doesn’t cause it too much of a strain for users.
