Grounded is a co-op survival game made for you to experience the life of being tiny as ants in your backyard. You can spend time with your friends while striving each day to encounter different bugs and insects as large as all of you.

While having adventures together, it is not impossible for you to encounter different obstacles ranging from easy to hard difficulties. This includes jumping from one branch to another, taking zip lines, and jumping off from one place to another.

However, jumping and falling from a high place can deal damage the player. That is why the game provided you with a resource that can prevent you from receiving fall damage during these times.

The Dandelion Tuft is an uncommon resource that can help you glide and drop off safely from a high place to the ground. However, you can only use a dandelion tuft for a short while. While using this, you better keep your eyes on the Hanging Time which is the indication of the time you can use it.

This guide is made to help you understand how you can get dandelion tuft for a swift travel.

How to Get Dandelion Tuft Glider in Grounded

The Dandelion Tuft is the only glider available in the game. It is an uncommon type of resource, but it is actually not that hard to obtain.

All you have to do is look for dandelions in any location. These are some of the locations where you can see dandelions: Eastern Flooded Zone, Flower Beds, Grasslands, Haze, Oak Hill, Shed Surroundings, Upper Grasslands, and Woodpile. You can explore any of these locations in search of dandelions.

After you locate a dandelion, make sure to equip your axe. There’s no need to worry if you don’t have a leveled-up axe yet. Cutting a dandelion only requires a level one axe. Strike the dandelion stem six times to successfully take down one dandelion. One plant already drops several dandelion tufts. Make sure to look for them because there is a tendency that they will fall far from the plant location itself.

Once you collected the dandelion tuft, access your inventory and transfer it to the Glider slot to easily use it when necessary.
