Genshin Impact: How to Unlock the Mausoleum of King Deshret

Genshin Impact has recently received an update and is currently running on version 3.1. The updated version will grant access to Sumeru’s Desert region, where you will find Cyno, a 5-star Electro polearm user, Nilou, a 5-star  Hydro sword user, and Candace, a 4-star Hydro polearm user, which are new playable characters.

We’ll show you how to open the Mausoleum King Deshret, which you’ll find in the desert.

How to Unlock Mausoleum of King Deshret in Genshin Impact

The Sumeru Desert is home to the Mausoleum King Deshret. You must first unlock Sumeru by completing the following requirements before you can get there:

• Complete Chapter II: Act IV “Requiem of the Echoing Depths” Archon Quest
• Adventure Rank 35 and above

You can just travel west from Sumeru to get to Caravan Ribat. A Statue of the Seven is located south of it and accessing it unlocks a portion of the Sumeru Desert on the map. The Mausoleum of King Deshret is locked until you complete a certain world quest.

Unlocking the Mausoleum of King Deshret

The Golden Slumber World Quest must be completed to unlock the Mausoleum of King Deshret. You can get the world quest when you speak with Bonifaz near the entrance to Aaru Village, adjacent to the Statue of the Seven.

The Golden Slumber world quest has four stages; finishing it will get you the Scarlet Sand Slate Gadget. In the third chapter of the World Quest, titled The Secret of Al-Ahmar, you can open the Mausoleum of King Deshret.
