Genshin Impact: Old Vanarana Dendro Totem Puzzle Guide

Genshin Impact’s quests are diverse. You have fetch quests,  quests, time limit missions and for those who love a good strategy, puzzle quests.

All in all, this makes making these long quest lines so bearable with the variety of things to do in completing different objectives in the game.

Today, we are going to guide you on one of the new Sumeru Quests located in the previously unlocked area of Old Varana.

Old Vanarana Dendro Totem Puzzle Guide for Genshin Impact

You have to unlock the Statue of the Seven in Old Varana to access this puzzle. To do that you have to complete the Nursery of Lost Dreams Aranyaka Part III World Quest to unlock this.

With that done, head over to the teleport waypoint northeast in Old Vanarana. From here, glide down towards the base of the roots. Before reaching the bottom you would spot a hole to your north. Head over there.

Use Electro on the Blue Mushroom

Switch to an Electro Character and use your skill to activate the blue mushroom.  Afterwards, head on inside the hole and clear enemies inside.

You would find a chest further in with inactive dendro Totems in the area. Collect the contents of the chest and clear all the enemies. once this is done, the Dendro Totems will be unlocked.

Use Dendro To Activate Totems

Switch to a Dendro Character to activate the Dendro Totems. Doing this will unlock another cave entrance blocked by roots further down. After doing this, teleport back up to the waypoint and glide your way downwards past the first hole that you came from with the mushroom.

You should see another hole further down. Head towards it and get the second chest inside.
