Want to dive into Season 4: Shattered Omens in Last Epoch but can’t figure out any easy and simple builds to play?

Honestly, I fully understand it can be pretty overwhelming when starting out! Plus, sometimes you just want a build that’s both easy to make and simple to play. It’s always nice for just chilling, after all.

In this article, I’ll tell you which builds I consider the easiest and simplest for the new season.

If most other builds on this list are a bit too ranged for you, this might be for you instead! This build primarily focuses on Vengeance, making it much more melee-focused.

Due to the hyperfocus on Vengeance, this build ends up being nearly an auto-attack build. You basically just get up close to enemies and spam Vengeance until they die.

As you might imagine, this also means that you’re fairly tanky, due to how Vengeance works as a riposte. Plus, you’re a Paladin, which is an inherently tanky class.

Just like every other Paladin build on this list, you’ll also want to use Holy Aura and Symbols of Hope to further buff yourself. They’ll make your Vengeance even stronger.

Like most other builds, however, this build is fairly reliant on gear. You’ll want to get the Carrion of Creation gloves as soon as possible, as they’ll allow you to apply Bleed with every hit. And you’ll deal a lot of hits, so it scales up pretty well!

Nonetheless, the Carrion of Creation gloves aren’t a hard requirement while progressing. You want them as soon as possible, but you can actually do surprisingly well even before getting them.

That aside, the major downside for this build is just that its damage can be a bit lacking in endgame. But that’s only really an issue if you’re planning on tackling the very top of the game’s challenges, such as Uber Aberroth at 1000 Corruption.

Forged Weapons Forge Guard

If you want a build that can rush through the game with ease while having very few weaknesses, this is the build for you!

The main benefit of this build is that it is surprisingly tanky and has good sustain. It allows you to take a few good hits without going down, which is fantastic if you’re still learning the game and you just want to take it easy. No need to stay on point with dodging at all times.

For damage, this build’s main focus is on using Forge Strike to spawn Forged Weapons. These minions are capable of dishing out pretty great damage and are also as tanky as you are.

The other major upside of this build is that it doesn’t really require anything too specific for gear. So, you don’t have to spend a lot of time farming to make the build viable, which is always welcome.

With great damage and survivability, you should have little issue clearing content using this build!

However, the playstyle does require you to get good at managing your resources. Primarily, that’s because you want to maximize the buffs from Symbols of Hope.

Similarly, the build’s versatility also comes at the cost of speed. It’s not the fastest build for clearing content, even if you should have little trouble surviving.

Hammer Throw Paladin

This is another build that’s very simple due to the fact that you’re primarily focused on a single skill. That is, of course, Hammer Throw.

When going all in on Hammer Throw, it becomes an extremely potent skill that can be used as your primary offense tool throughout the entire game. It’s also very cost-efficient, so you practically don’t need to pay attention to Mana!

Plus, due to being a Paladin build, you’ll also have great survivability on top of the high damage. You really won’t have to worry about paying too much attention to Health, either!

To make the build shine even better, you also want to ideally use Holy Aura, Shield Throw, and Symbols of Hope. You’ll speed up clears thanks to their buffs, making Hammer Throw even more lethal.

Now, the main issue with this build is that it needs the Primal Cadence unique axe. Its effect makes it so that Overkill Damage you deal to enemies causes an explosion, sharing that damage to other enemies.

You’ll also need to aim Hammer Throw well, which makes the build require a bit more input than others on this list. But that’s great if you want to feel like you’re playing a top-down shooter!

Rip Blood Warlock

This is a build that’s all about dishing out massive damage while minimizing the number of skills you need to use.

As the name says, the star of the show here is the Rip Blood spell. Your playstyle here is incredibly simple due to that: just spam Rip Blood as much as possible! It doesn’t get any easier or simpler than that.

The singular focus on Rip Blood, which is a Physical spell, also makes the build itself scale really well into the endgame. It’s easy to boost Rip Blood’s damage, and you can have some nearly record-breaking clear times due to that.

Survivability is also surprisingly solid. The combination of the Pearls of the Swine amulet and Bone Curse can grant you a ton of Ward, which nullifies incoming damage.

However, that highlights the one downside to this build: it’s very gear dependant. You’ll need the Pearls of the Swine amulet I mentioned before because your overall survivability is almost entirely gear-dependent.

If you don’t mind having to do a bit of farming for specific gear, though, this build is absolutely excellent. Very easy to play, great survivability, and massive damage for fast clears.

Warpath Void Knight

Want to spin to win? Well, this build is absolutely ideal for you! You will start battles by spinning, and you won’t stop until all of your foes are dead.

As the name of the build says, Warpath is your main driver in this build. It’s the spin to win skill, press and hold it down to start spinning. Only ever stop once you run out of mana or you’ve killed everything!

With this build, you’ll also need to have the Warrior’s Fury skill. It will make it so Warpath’s damage and area of effect increase the longer you keep spinning, maxing out at 10 seconds.

Aside from that, you also want Void Well as a must-have here. It’ll help you get Mana back, which is crucial to keep on spinning!

Once the build is fully online, you’ll actually have enough Mana to never ever stop spinning. I’ve said it before already, but this really is the most spin-to-win build possible, and super simple to play due to that.

Ultimately, the only thing you’ll need to worry about with this build is just getting gear for Mana. That’s all that really matters, as you just need to keep Warpath active.

As such, it’s important to try to get the World Splitter unique weapon as soon as possible. It’s one of the best items for Mana sustain. Legendaries and uniques will be required to make the build reach its full potential.

Other than that, the survivability isn’t too amazing. You’re not super tanky or anything like that, but you do have good mobility due to Warpath.

Wrapping Up

So, there you have it! That’s the 5 top builds I recommend trying out in Last Epoch Season 4: Shattered Omens, at least if you’re looking for something easy and simple to play.

I hope you find at least one of these builds that fits your tastes, as they each do have different quirks to them. But they’re all very easy to play and simple to build, at least!
