Wuthering Waves: All Sonance Casket Locations in Penitent’s End

Wuthering Waves just released its massive “version 2.0” patch that includes all sorts of new content, including various sub regions, a whole lot of puzzles and quests to complete, rewards to claim, and secrets to discover. In this guide, we will be showing you how to find all of the sonance caskets in the Penitent’s End sub area of the Rinascita region.

All Sonance Casket Locations in Penitent’s End

In total, there are 17 sonance caskets to be found all around this region. All you need to do to claim them is to find and grapple to them by getting close enough for the prompt to show up. With that in mind, here are all of their locations:

Penitent’s End Sonance Casket #1 – Near Wailing Ascent

Directly to the north of the bridge at Wailing Ascent, you will find the first sonance casket just floating in the air just a short jog away from the fork in the road leading to the northeast. You can also fast travel to the resonance beacon nearby and drop down from the cliff if you already have it unlocked.

Penitent’s End Sonance Casket #2 – Near the Figurehead’s Shrine

Next, head over to the Figurehead’s Shrine. If you take a look at the giant floating segments of bone on the air, you will see the next sonance casket floating beside the tail bone at the very end. Fly or parkour your way up there through whatever means available to you.

Penitent’s End Sonance Casket #3 – Near Wailing Ascent Again

Next, head to the highlighted part of the map image below. Once you are at this small ruin, you will see the next sonance casket at the entrance of a nearby cave. Head over there and pick it up so we can move on to the next.

Penitent’s End Sonance Casket #4 – Near Fool’s Elysium

Near the Fool’s Elysium label at the highlighted part of the map image below, you will find a ruined structure. Look under it and you will find another sonance casket somewhat hidden behind a destroyed wall.

Penitent’s End Sonance Casket #5 – At the Ocean, Kinda

Next up, head further to the west from where the previous sonance casket was in Fool’s Elysium. There, jump off the cliff and fall straight onto the water. As you are falling, you should be able to see the sonance casket floating over the water, so start gliding to grab it before you fall right into the sea.

Penitent’s End Sonance Casket #6 – Above More Sets of Bones

North of where the previous sonance casket was, back up the cliff, you will find another smaller set of bones just like the one at Figurehead’s Shrine. Above it will be the next sonance casket, over some wooden scaffolding that is propping up the fossil.

Penitent’s End Sonance Casket #7 – Literally Below the Last One

After picking up the previous sonance casket, drop down the cliff. Right under the giant skeleton will be a camp site, and the next sonance casket will be floating over a wooden platform in the camp. There is a small chest that you can loot up here too.

Penitent’s End Sonance Casket #8 – Near A Treasure Spot Up North

At the highlighted part of the map image below is a pathway leading to a ruin. Once you reach a part of the path with a bunch of wooden platforms stuck to the cliffside, simply look up and you will see the sonance casket under one of the platforms.

Penitent’s End Sonance Casket #9 – Near Yet Another Treasure Spot

Further northeast from where the previous sonance casket was is another treasure spot. In this area, look inside the crashed ship and you will find one more sonance casket just floating in there.

Penitent’s End Sonance Casket #10 – Even More Treasure Spots

Further to the east, directly north of The Strand is another isolated treasure spot. In the highlighted part of the map image below is an old abandoned town. Beside one of the buildings is a sonance casket just out in the open.

Penitent’s End Sonance Casket #11 – At an Isolated Island Up North

To the north of where the previous sonance casket was is a lone island. Head over there and make your way to the northernmost edge of the island. Carefully make your way down from the very tip of the rock formation there and you will eventually find the sonance casket down below.

Penitent’s End Sonance Casket #12 – Beside a Waterfall

Head to the highlighted part of the map image below, to the southwest of The Strand. Make your way to a decently high vantage point and prepare to fly towards the waterfall, as the next sonance casket is floating high up right beside it.

Penitent’s End Sonance Casket #13 – At Figurehead’s Shrine

Head over to the highlighted part of Figurehead’s Shrine, near the resonance nexus in that area. Hop off the cliffside to the north and start gliding towards the wooden scaffolding below, where the next sonance casket is waiting to be grabbed.

Penitent’s End Sonance Casket #14 – Very Close to the Previous One

After grabbing the 13^th sonance casket, jump down from where it was and head to the camp site nearby. Enter the big tent with two pointy bits above it and you will find another sonance casket one the ground immediately to your right.

Penitent’s End Sonance Casket #15 – Under the Figurehead’s Shrine Zone

For this next one, go to the resonance nexus at Figurehead’s Shrine and then jump down to the cave entrance up north. Upon entering this underground area, you should be able to spot the sonance casket just floating somewhere near the middle of the cave.

Penitent’s End Sonance Casket #16 – Hidden in Fool’s Elysium

Fast travel to the resonance beacon at the southeastern corner of Fool’s Elysium, close to where the giant turtle is found. Head to the highlighted part of the map image below to find the sonance casket hidden in a shoddy makeshift tent sitting on the wooden platform above the camp site below.

Penitent’s End Sonance Casket #17 – Still in Fool’s Elysium

Finally, for the last sonance casket, you do not need to travel far from the previous one. Head to the northern corner of Fool’s Elysium and you will find the sonance casket on the pathway that is highlighted in the map below.
