The Tulwar of the Golden Guard is a unique cosmetic item you can find while exploring K’aresh in WoW: The War Within. It’s pretty well hidden, and even requires you to go Phase Diving, so it’s easy to miss. Besides the transmog potential, it’s also required for one of the many Warband Achievements in 11.2. Read on, we’ll tell you its exact location!

Tulwar of the Golden Guard Location Guide | WoW: The War Within

To start hunting down the Tulwar of the Golden Guard, head to the Phase Conduit shown above. It’s the one southeast of Eco-Dome: Primus in the K’aresh region, west of Naakroa. The area there is known as the Ruins of Yaathron, and its coordinates are 51.37, 67.13. Use that Phase Conduit to start Phase Diving once you get there.

Do note, you should also have upgraded your Reshii Wraps up to Rank 4. If you haven’t done so yet, the item pick-up won’t show up at all! So, keep that in mind before traveling all the way to the Ruins of Yaathron.

Once you’re inside the Untethered Space, go directly north. Keep going until you reach the Ethereal wagon found at around 51.06, 65.11. Defeat any mobs that get in the way there, then check the underside of the wagon to find the sword. It can be pretty hard to notice, since it’s small and blocked by the wagon, but it’s there! Just interact with it to collect it once you spot it.
