The Abundance event in Zul’Aman is considered one of the more important repeatable activities in World of Warcraft: Midnight. This is especially true for players who want to progress weekly objectives, farm crafting materials, and acquire Unalloyed Abundance.
This is one of the many activities in the Midnight expansion. So, it’s no surprise that it gets to be part of the expansion’s weekly world quest. But how do you even start and complete this event?
How to Unlock the Abundance Events – Introduction Den and Tutorial Quests
Before you get started, you first need to unlock the Midnight World Tour system. This is available after you progress through the main Midnight campaign and complete the introductory quests.
After unlocking, head to Zul’Aman and look for the Abundance Event marker on the map. You’ll also need a Shard of Dundun if you want to activate the event’s empowered version. Fortunately, these shards are now easier to obtain due to drop rate adjustments from caches and world activities.
How to Get Started

If you’re here, I assume it’s your first time trying to complete an Abundance event. In that case, you’ll need to first visit Chel the Chip at the Amani’Zar Village in Zul’Aman. Her coordinates are roughly 45.02, 67.57.
Simply walk up to Chel the Chip and start “The Abundant Lands.” This is the tutorial quest for Abundance events.

After starting the quest, follow the quest marker to the northwestern part of Zul’Aman. You’ll find a cave where Chel the Chip waits for you at coordinates 31.59, 26.27.

Talk to her there to finish “The Abundant Lands” and start “The Abundant Awakening.” Then, talk to Dundun, the green spiritual rodent next to Chel the Chip.
Dundun will now instruct you on how the Abundance events work. The gist of it is extremely simple, thankfully! Go into the Abundance cave, kill enemies, and loot resources to gather Abundance, and then deposit them at the Altars of Abundance spread throughout the cave.

Do note that you have a limit on how much Abundance you can carry at a time, however. It’s shown in the quest objectives on the right side of the screen.

Also, while this doesn’t happen during the tutorial, you also have a time limit during Abundance events. It’ll be above your current Abundance during a proper run of the event.
It’s also important to know that gathering Abundance will strengthen you. Movement speed and damage get noticeable boosts in particular, since they help you snowball.

Once you finish the tutorial, you’ll be kicked back out of the cave. When that happens, talk to Chel the Chip again and purchase 1 Abundant Beacon from her wares.
Lastly, talk to Dundun one last time to complete “The Abundant Honor.” That’s the end of the tutorial quests, so you can now do Abundance events proper!
How to Complete the Abundance Event in Zul’Aman

To do an Abundance event in Zul’Aman, you’ll need to go to the Loaknit Den. If you just did the tutorial quest, that’s where you are. Otherwise, go to the spot marked above, at coordinates 31.59, 26.27.
Talk to Dundun, the Loa of Abundance, at the cave’s entrance and click on Harvest to start an Abundance event run.
Now, you just need to go through the Abundance event as normal. Gather as much Abundance as you can by defeating enemies and gathering resources, then deposit them at the Altars. Just remember to keep an eye on the time limit.

If you merely wish to complete the “Complete Abundance event in Zul’Aman” objective for “Midnight: World Tour”, your performance during the event doesn’t matter. In fact, you could just let the timer run out without doing anything and it will count!
However, you do need to get more Abundance points if you wish to complete the “Abundant Offerings” quest for Chel the Chip. So, I recommend actually trying to do well to maximize rewards.
How to Achieve Fast Completion
By far, the fastest method to complete the objective is to stay near high-density gathering routes. As much as possible, don’t stray too far from the deposit altar. Also, movement speed bonuses will be a significant help here. If you have speed enchants or mobility tools, you can complete a run much faster compared to other builds.
Group farming is also now a lot more efficient, as enemy scaling is now toned down a bit, allowing groups to achieve faster times without having to worry about a massive increase in difficulty.
The Abundance Event is now a lot better than how it was weeks after launch. There have been several balance patches that were introduced that improved spawn behavior, consistency of the rewards, and group scaling.
While it’s not the best gold-making activity in the Midnight expansion, it does offer consistent rewards with relatively low effort. That said, the core gameplay loop remains the same, but now, it’s a matter of understanding efficient gathering routes and depositing timing to make the most out of every run.
With all that’s been said, that’s all you need to know to unlock and complete an Abundance event in Zul’Aman for the Midnight: World Tour quest in WoW!
