The Legendary Prosperity quest in WoW Midnight asks you to “learn about a legend of the Haranir” which is part of the “Legends of the Haranir” weekly world event in Harandar. The region has seven ancient Haranir legends to uncover, and you get to experience one each week through the Legends of the Haranir world event.

That said, you start the quest by speaking with Naynar inside the cave in the center of Harandar, but you need to be level 90 and have reached Hara’ti Glory Level 8 before she offers it to you.

In this guide, I will walk you through exactly what you need to do to complete the quest.

Legendary Prosperity Quest Guide (Learn About a Legend of the Haranir) in WoW Midnight

To get started with the Legendary Prosperity quest, head to the location marked in the image below, at coordinates 50.98, 50.77. There, you will find Naynar who will offer you the quest.

Once you have accepted the quest, make your way to the Reliquary of the Zur’ashar as shown on the map below. Look for an NPC named Zur’ashar Kassameh who is standing at coordinates 54.19, 53.09.

Speak with him and he will offer you another quest called Lost Legends. Accept this quest.

After accepting the Lost Legends quest, you will need to select a Relic from the choices available in the same room. Each Relic offers a different reward. Once you have made your selection, turn the quest into Zur’ashar Kassameh.

He will then follow up with another quest directly tied to the Relic you chose.

Since I went with the Cauldron of Echoes, my follow-up quest was called The Cauldron of Echoes. If you choose a different Relic, your quest name will reflect that choice.

The main task involved in each of these quests is meditating at the Ancient Visionstone. The meditation sequence itself plays out slightly differently depending on which Relic you selected, with each one offering a unique experience tied to the legend of that particular relic.

One important thing to know is that relic progression is currently Warband-wide. This means every character on your account shares the same relic selection for that weekly reset. You can’t choose separate relics on alternate characters during the same week.

The Cauldron of Echoes

To get started with the meditation task, head on over to the location marked in the image below, at coordinates 61.64, 20.56.

Once you get there, interact with the Ancient Visionstone to start the meditation sequence. The meditation process has the following four stages:

  • Stage 1 – The Pigments of Memory: You need to defeat a couple of Alnscorned Essence mobs that spawn there to collect pigment ingredients.
  • Stage 2 – Signature of the Soul: Go inside the cave and interact with the orange object (Cauldron of Echoes). You will be taken into a minigame screen where you have to use the paintbrush to connect the dots. You can move the paintbrush by clicking on the arrow buttons given at the bottom of the screen.
  • Stage 3 – Brush with Power: Go deeper into the cave and you will find Animated Paint mobs. You need to defeat 10 of them.
  • Final Stage – The Burden of Memory: Interact with the orange Caludron of Echoes at the end of the cave to collect Paint Splotches.

You can watch the video below for a walkthrough of the entire process.

Here’s a video showing the entire process of completing the “Meditation at the Ancient Visionstone” task for The Cauldron of Echoes relic.

After completing the meditation, head back to Zur’ashar Kassameh and turn in the quest. Once that is done, make your way back to Naynar. Speak with her to complete the Legendary Prosperity quest.

Important Things the Game Doesn’t Explain to You

You might not know it, but the Legends of the Haranir event actually has more long-term value than the introductory quest suggests.

Each relic contributes toward larger achievement chains tied to Harandar completion, including Chronicler of the Haranir and Legends Never Die. Also, several relic scenarios contain hidden lore objects marked with magnifying glass icons on your minimap.

This makes it worth exploring carefully before leaving each scenario. The event also rewards cosmetic housing decorations tied to your chosen relic, making it useful even after your first completion.

Wrapping Things Up

That covers the full Legendary Prosperity quest and everything involved in learning a legend of the Haranir. The quest chain is longer than it initially appears but the meditation sequence at the end makes it one of the more engaging weekly activities in WoW Midnight.

Since the event resets weekly and each Relic offers something different, it is worth coming back each week to work through the remaining legends.
