The “Breaking the Triad” questline is one of the many you can take on as part of the Midnight expansion in World of Warcraft (WoW).

Ziadan and Vidious have been fighting each other in the Voidstorm, getting the Alliance and Horde involved in the conflict. Represent your side and help bring this conflict to an end, one way or another!

In this guide, I’ll tell you how to quickly start the Breaking the Triad questline.

How to Start the Breaking the Triad Questline

First of all, before we begin, note that this quest requires you to be Level 88. It can not be started earlier, so you likely won’t be able to accept it before reaching the proper level.

With that said, how you start the quest depends on whether you’re an Alliance or Horde player. You’ll need to speak to a specific NPC within Master’s Perch in the Voidstorm, as follows:

  • Alliance – Amari Lyndon in eastern Master’s Perch. Coordinates: 40.8, 84.0
  • Horde – Dar’gul in western Master’s Perch. Coordinates: 34.91, 80.17

Amari Lyndon will give you the “Voidscar Arena: The Grief Spire” quest, while Dar’gul will give you the “Voidscar Arena: The Hate Spire” quest.

Despite the differences, the next step of starting the questline is practically identical. You just need to use the portal that’s closest to the NPC you talked to. It will lead you to the respective Spire.

After going through the portal, walk forward a bit and Ziadan or Vidious will warp right in front of you. Talk to them about the quest you took from Amari or Dar’gul and you’ll have officially started the “Breaking the Triad” questline!

Do note that while this questline takes you through some PvP subzones, it is not at all PvP-oriented. It’s purely PvE and mainly focuses on the Voidscar Arena dungeon. You can also complete it with War Mode disabled.

With all of that said, though, you now know everything you need to be able to start the “Breaking the Triad” questline in WoW: Midnight! It’s a fairly lengthy, but straightforward, one.
