One of the newest and exciting features for the upcoming Dragonflight expansion is the Dragonriding races. These are basically races in the game that involves using your dragon mount and finishing the race as quickly as possible.
There are a bunch of these races in the new Dragon Isles map, a handful of which can be found in Azure Span. Let’s find out where all of them are.
All Azure Span Races Locations in World of Warcraft
There’s a total of 6 dragonriding races that you can find in Azure Span. However, each location has two different levels: the Normal race and the Advanced race. You can find them in the following locations:
You can find this in the eastern part of Iskaara. This will be on top of a cliff that’s overlooking the icy lake as you can see in the image above. The course will only allow the Skyward Ascent and Surge Forward abilities.
This one is on the Brackenhide Hollow just a bit east of the Three-Falls Lookout. As the name implies, this race course will take you through a winding race track as you fly past the redwoods in the area. Similar to the first race course, this one also only allows the Skyward Ascent and Surge Forward abilities.
The third race location is the Central Circuit located just north of Camp Antonidas in the Northern Frostlands. This is a snowy track with very little gales and elevation, making it one of the more challenging races you could ever find in the region.
Azure Span Sprint
You can find this course right at Camp Antonidas, just a bit south of the Central Circuit course. It’s also a lot easier and more forgiving despite the course taking place in the same area as Central Circuit. There are lots of wind gales that will help speed up your mount, allowing you to finish the race pretty quickly.
Archive Ambit
The Archive Ambit course is just a bit northeast of the Azure Archives which you can find on the southern part of the Azure Span. Just like the other courses in this list, this course doesn’t have a lot of wind gales to give you a speed boost. As such, you’ll have to rely on your Vigor abilities to finish as quickly as possible.
The Vakthros Ascent
The last one on this list, this one is just a bit north of Vakthros which is on the right side of the map. The course offers a lot of wind gales along the way. However, a huge portion of the race also involves upward flying, so make sure you don’t miss those gales for that massive speed boost.
