With the release of Season 13 alongside the new Lord of Hatred DLC in Diablo 4, the question of where to farm unique gear and charms has been asked often by lots of players.
After all, there have been multiple new sources, and the unique item you might be aiming to farm has completely changed where it could drop.
If you don’t know where exactly to find these items, this guide is for you. Let’s get started.
Where to Farm Unique Gear and Charm in the Season 13 Update

As mentioned, some of the unique gear might have their drop sources changed entirely in the current season.
For example, the unique mace Herald’s Morningstar can drop from Duriel in the Gaping Crevasse in Gea Kul. However, the recent update has changed its drop source to Urivar in Fields of Judgment instead.
This is not the only unique gear that’s affected by this change, as it seems several other unique items have their drop sources changed as well.
Another notable change is that some uniques have their stats and properties changed as well.
With that out of the way, where exactly do you farm them now?
Unique Gear Crafting

One of the recent additions to the Lord of Hatred DLC is the ability to obtain Boss Trophy items from certain bosses after defeating them.
You can then use them to craft random, unique items from that certain boss’s pool drop. For example, Urivar has a chance to drop a Boss Trophy item called Judicator’s Mask upon defeat.
Once you have 5 Judicator’s Masks, simply interact with the Horadric Cube, place 5 pieces of the Boss Trophy, and click Transmute. This will generate a random, unique item that can be farmed from Urivar.
This is a really quick method of target farming certain unique gear instead of killing the boss over and over again while relying on RNG.
There are a total of 9 different Boss Trophy items that drop from certain bosses. Some World Bosses can also drop them, albeit at a lower chance.
How to Get Unique Charms

Charms are yet another new addition to the Lord of Hatred expansion. They essentially grant you additional effects to make your player even stronger, depending on which charm you equip.
For example, there’s a unique Charm that has the same effect as the unique Fists of Fate gloves. The neat part is that you don’t need to actually equip it.
However, it’s worth noting that you need to unlock the Talisman first before you can even see Charms dropping.

One of the ways to farm unique Charms is to do Charm-reward runs, specifically in Kurast Undercity. Just make sure you are at a high enough Torment level to have a chance of them dropping.
Meanwhile, if you want a more guaranteed method, then you can use the Craft Unique Charm recipe in the Horadric Cube.

For this, you’ll need 1 Ancestral Unique, 3 random Unique Charms, 1 Enhanced Primordial Dust, 50 Raw Primordial Dust, and 100 Infused Horadric Resin.
Once you have those materials, simply click Transmute to get a random, unique Charm.
This method is great if you have a lot of unique Charms lying around that you don’t need. It’s also great if you are targeting a specific Charm for your character.
Wrapping Things Up
And there you have it!
The recent Lord of Hatred expansion has made it a lot easier to obtain various unique gear and charms to make your character stronger.
Of course, it still involves a lot of farming and grinding, but at least you can now easily target the items that you need.
