We won’t spoil all the details for you at this point, but the rebel base itself isn’t safe. The people out there are unlikely to survive the magnetic storms without your help. Find where they are and see what you can do. We’ll help you with the “find where they are” part!
Where To Find The Rebel Base During The Aftermath | The Alters
You can find the rebel base in Act 3, with it becoming an optional objective shortly after the second magnetic storm in the act. Now, look at your map and rotate it so that your base is on the western end, like in the screenshot above. Then, just follow the route we marked above to go east and reach the rebel base.
Do note that the path does require a lot of energy for your suit. Make sure to have spare batteries to keep yourself topped up as you follow the route. Nonetheless, it’s a fairly simple route to follow all the way to the base!
On top of that, there will also be a lot of anomalies along the path. You’ll need to deal with them to progress. Additionally, the amount and type of anomalies you encounter seem to vary depending on the choices you’ve made in the story up to this point. Due to these anomalies, it’s best to make sure you set out early so that you have enough time.

If you wish to help the rebels, you should make sure to focus on this as much as possible. As some of the Alters mention, it’s very unlikely that the rebels will survive a third magnetic storm.
Nonetheless, just reach the end of our marked path and you’ll see the rebel base shown above. Approach it and you can choose how to deal with the people there, depending on how things are in your playthrough and what Alters you have.
