“Like Butterflies” is one of the new photography quests added with the Photo Mode update for Stellar Blade, and it tasks you with finding all hidden butterfly locations and snapping pics of them.

You get this quest automatically once you unlock the Photo Mode feature. To complete it, you simply need to find all 10 butterfly graffiti and take photos of them… but they are hidden all over the massive Wasteland area! Finding them all is no easy feat on your own, but thankfully you have us to tell you where they all are.

In this guide, we’ll tell you where to find all 10 hidden butterfly locations so you can complete the “Like Butterflies” quest and get a new outfit for EVE.

All Hidden Butterfly Locations in Stellar Blade | Like Butterflies Quest Guide

Vibrant Butterfly

For this one, go to the southwestern corner of the Wasteland.

Enter the broken ship there.

Inside the ship, jump on top of the blue containers shown above.

Turn around once you’re on the containers and you’ll spot the butterfly graffiti on a metal sheet. Snap a photo to collect it!

Rare Butterfly

Go to the Solar Tower in the western part of the Wasteland.

Enter the Solar Tower itself and turn to your right, walking toward the computer desk.

The butterfly graffiti is on the wall behind the desk. Pretty easy one to spot, right? Not sure what’s so rare about it, but oh well…

Flamboyant Butterfly

You can get this one near the Solar Tower in the western part of the Wasteland as well, like the previous butterfly. Just go a bit northwest approaching the edge of the map.

Once there, look for a large metal pole with platforms on it. Climb onto the lowest platform on the pole and turn around.

You should now be facing a broken billboard. The flamboyant butterfly is right there on the billboard, showing itself off!

Precious Butterfly

This one is a bit in the middle of nowhere. To start, go to the spot marked above on the eastern part of the Wasteland.

When you reach the spot, you should see a large bunch of debris. Look for the protruding metal fence of sorts shown above. Use the sphere-shaped building nearby as a point of reference.

The butterfly graffiti is chilling on one of the top panels of the metal fence. Does graffiti still count as vandalism if it’s done on debris?

Mysterious Butterfly

Halfway through now, this is the 5th out of all 10 hidden butterfly locations for the “Like Butterflies” quest in Stellar Blade! This time, go a bit north of the center of the Wasteland, to the spot marked above.

You should see a broken billboard with the letters “DG” once you get there. Walk behind that same billboard.

The butterfly is on the back of the billboard’s front panels. It can be hard to see due to it being in the shadows, but at least that means it’s not getting a sunburn!

Cute Butterfly

This little butterfly is hiding in the northernmost tip of the Wasteland map.

When you reach the marked spot, you should notice some crates covered by a green cloth. They’re near the large green containers in the area.

Check the far side of the crates to find the butterfly. It adds some flavor to the drab green cloth, right?

Graceful Butterfly

You can find this butterfly near the Waypoint on the easternmost part of the Wasteland.

Look for the tall abandoned building near the Waypoint and go to the cliff on its right side.

Jump along the cliffside to reach the opposite side of the building.

Face the building and look up to spot the butterfly graffiti. It’s fairly high up on the building’s wall. Makes you wonder how anyone got up there…

Pure Butterfly

This butterfly isn’t far off from the previous one, so you can use the Waypoint in the eastern part of the Wasteland as your starting point here too.

Face the same tall abandoned building from before but this time go to its left side. You should find a rope you can use to reach a lower part of the area.

Once you land, grab onto the next rope and rappel even further down.

Now, you just have to follow the linear path here until you reach the illuminated part with the metal bars shown above.

When you finally get there, turn to your right and you’ll see the butterfly graffiti on the wall. Definitely one of the trickier ones to find, huh?

Joyful Butterfly

Our starting point for this butterfly is the Junkyard supply camp in the northeastern part of the Wasteland.

From the Junkyard, look for the red panels by the cliff to the north of the camp. Jump onto them and wall-run across the gap.

Then, take a quick right as soon as you cross the gap.

You’ll enter a somewhat hidden section with more panels you can wall-run on. Use them to cross the large gap and reach the other side. Be warned, though, there will be a couple of enemies trying to shoot you down as you wall-run!

Once you cross the cap and deal with annoying enemies, continue going forward down the slope.

As soon as you reach the intersection in the path, turn your camera around. The butterfly graffiti is on the rocks in the middle of the intersection.

Dreaming Butterfly

At long last, this is the last of all the hidden butterfly locations for the “Like Butterflies” quest in Stellar Blade! This time, go to the secluded spot in the southeastern corner of the Wasteland.

Once there, go up the stairs on the western side of the area.

Turn right once you’re up the stairs and you should instantly notice the butterfly graffiti on the side of a crate. It’s right next to a large gas tank, let’s hope it doesn’t end up catching on fire or something…

Anyway, take a photo of the butterfly graffiti and you’re all done! If you’ve followed all the locations in this guide in order, that’s the final hidden butterfly you needed for the “Like Butterflies” quest in Stellar Blade. Congratulations! Report your completion of the quest to the bulletin board and you’ll get the FourSeconds Black Denim Nano Suit for EVE.

This isn’t the only photography side quest added with the newest Stellar Blade update, however. You can also find hidden fish in the Great Desert for the Pisces quest, for example. It’ll give you another new outfit, too!
