Lies of P: Overture is a DLC that acts as a prequel to the beloved Pinocchio-based soulslike. With this DLC, various new secrets can now be uncovered for all sorts of rewards, including new outfits, gear, and just mere collectibles for the sake of completion. In this guide, we will go over where you can get each of the Black Rabbit Hole Keys and how to find the secret doors that you can unlock with them!
Lies Of P: Overture – All Black Rabbit Hole Key & Secret Door Locations
Before we get to the actual searching, you can simply buy the first Black Rabbit Hole Key from the merchant NPC found in the Carnival Garden area. He is hanging out beside a fountain and is impossible to miss, so just buy it for over a thousand of your hard-earned currency and head on out.
Upon buying the key from the merchant, go through the open doorway to the left, which has the red and white stripes. Exit through to the other side and keep going until you find the Clown Knock-Down tent.
Behind the tent, you will find the first Black Rabbit Hideout that you can open with your newly acquired key. Open it to find a safe containing the following items:
The Eccentric’s Mask
Piercing Death’s Hunting Apparel
Now, equip the two items that you have just acquired. By doing so, you will immediately be rewarded with another Black Rabbit Hole Key, as well as some notes that you can check if you want to. Once you have gotten this key, there is nothing left to do here, so teleport back to the Eventide Hotel Krat.
Head all the way up stairs and then out into the Miraculous Flower Garden. There, you will find another one of these Black Rabbit Hideouts. Inside, you will find another safe containing, you guessed it, yet another set of items that you can wear, which are the following:
The Youngest’s Mask
Permeating Death’s Hunting Apparel
No, equipping this set of items will not grant you a free key like the previous one. When you are done with this area, travel to the stargazer at the Security Area in chapter two.
Make your way down all of the metal platforms, avoiding the steam and defeating any enemy along the way. Near the bottom, you will find the Black Rabbit Hole Key on the ground, which you cannot miss due to how bright and blue the item is compared to its surroundings.
For the next Black Rabbit Hideout, however, you must travel to a different area in the same chapter. Fast travel to the Zelator Underground Facility and immediately go right up the stairs just behind the stargazer.
Follow the catwalk until you reach the corner, where you will find yet another locked door for your latest Black Rabbit Hole Key. Inside, you probably won’t believe this, but it is yet another safe. This one contains the following items:
The Eldest’s Gas Mask
Black Death’s Protective Apparel
Finally, the fourth and last key is found immediately after lowering and crossing the catwalk at the Pistris Harbor area. Literally just walk through it and you will find the final Black Rabbit Hole Key violently glowing blue on the ground. You can’t miss it unless you ignore it on purpose.
To find the door that you can unlock with this last key, heads to the very top of Krat Lighthouse. Then, drop down the gap leading to a balcony below. There, you will find a ladder that you can use to climb down.
There will be another tall ladder to descend from. After the second ladder, you will find the final Black Rabbit hideout just on the wall to the left. Look, you already know what is going to be inside, so just get in there and loot the safe to get your rewards, which are the following items:
The Battle Maniac’s Mask
Blazing Death’s Hunting Apparel
Once you are done, congratulations, you have now unlocked all of the hideouts and claimed each of the outfits locked inside. The keys specifically are not tied to an achievement, as far as we know, but the collectibles are definitely nice to have if you like to be dripped out!
