How to Find Howling Caves and Abominable Yeti | Path of Exile 2
To start reaching the Howling Caves, you’ll need to progress through the Interlude zones until you reach the Glacial Tarn. The Glacial Tarn itself is reachable from the Kriar Village zone. So in short, this is the area progression here: The Glade, Ashen Forest, Kriar Village, Glacial Tarn, Howling Caves.
As for the entrance to the Howling Caves themselves, their location within the Glacial Tarn seems to vary. Procedural generation affects its exact position, just like with many other things in POE2!
Nonetheless, you can use the image above as a reference for what to look for. The entrance looks like a fairly regular cave entrance, surrounded by snow and ice… just like most of the Glacial Tarn zone! Additionally, the cave entrance seems to usually spawn on the eastern side of the Glacial Tarn. We recommend checking there first.

Now, let’s go over the Abominable Yeti point of interest within the Howling Caves. Well, for that one, you’ll simply need to explore the Howling Caves yourself! It has a random spawn location, and its spawns seem to be pretty varied. It’ll always be in its own secluded arena past a checkpoint, but that’s the only sign that you’re about to encounter it.
