Foraging is one of the essential skills you have to hone in running a farm. You have to be skilled enough to know how to chop down trees, remove unnecessary rocks and grasses, and mine minerals.
These activities are considered the basics of farming together with other skills. You will need this, especially during your early games when there is still not much thing to do, and all you can do around is collect raw materials.
One of the things that you can find during the early game is seeds. These can be collected in different ways. Some can be found on the ground, while some need to have foraged from trees.
A good example of the latter one is maple seeds.
Through this guide, we will help you in finding maple seeds during your first few days of playing Coral Island.
Where to Find Maple Seeds on Coral Island
Collecting maple seeds is actually pretty simple. All you have to do is look for maple trees around your area. Since the area that can be explored during the early game is not that wide, you can easily spot these trees with orange color leaves.
Simply equip your axe, and click the maple tree to chop it. Taking down the trunk will still leave a stump on the ground. Make sure to remove both of them to get all the materials that the tree can drop you.
Chopping down a whole maple tree will give you up to 18x wood, 5x sap, and 2x maple seeds. The number of these resources varies.
Once you have already collected all the dropped materials, open your backpack and select the maple seed. Click on the ground to plant it and grow another maple tree.
