Black Ops 6 Zombies: Underwater Box Locations | Free Ray Gun, Terminus

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 marks the return of the Zombies game mode that is almost universally liked by the fanbase. As you would expect, there are a lot of new secrets to uncover in it as you fight to survive against hordes of undead.

In this guide, we will be showing you how to find all of the boxes hidden under the water in the Terminus map. These can contain a lot of free stuff, including certain wonder weapons and valuable resources!

Before we get started, it is important to note that the Ray Gun is not a guaranteed drop. However, the chance to get it for literally no effort at all should be enough of a reason for you to try and open all of these crates.

With that in mind, here are all of the known underwater treasure boxes in Terminus:

Underwater Box #1 – In the Wrecked Ship

For this first one, you need to head over to the wrecked ship at the southwestern part of the map. Specifically, you can find the box at the northern tip of the ship. If you used the tactical raft to enter the wreckage, you’ll see the box just past the door up north under the water.

As with all the other crates in this guide, the latch keeping it closed will be glowing white, making it easier to spot. Keep an eye out for any bright lights while swimming underwater.

Underwater Box #2 – Near Crab Island

If you still have your tactical raft with you, head straight down south to Crab Island. At the northern part of the island, right at the shore, you should be able to spot the next underwater box glowing just a few steps away from the beach.

Underwater Box #3 – Northwestern Corner of the Map

Board your tactical raft once more and sail all the way to the northwesternmost island on the map. There, you will find the next underwater box just before the sand bar leading to the Arsenal Machine. You can’t miss it, as it’s glowing ever so brightly just like the previous one.

And that is the last box that we know of. Now, let’s go over a few tips that might help you maximize your gains from these crates.

Bonus Tips – Better Loot, Maybe

We are unsure of the specifics, but the possible loot from these underwater boxes also scales with how many rounds have currently passed in your match. If possible, you should wait until around round ten or above before you start opening them.

Anecdotal evidence shows that there is a higher chance of getting stuff like a free Ray Gun from these once you have passed that threshold. So basically, patience is a must if you want some sick new guns.
