The Dragonflight expansion has brought forth a bunch of interesting mounts that you can try to acquire. One of those mounts is the Gladiator’s Slitherdrake mount.

However, this one is actually not an individual mount by itself. Instead, it’s a customization option that you can apply to your Winding Slitherdrake to change its appearance.

In this guide, we’ll show you how you can obtain this customization option.

Before anything else, you first want to get your very own Winding Slitherdrake dragonriding mount. This mount was introduced in the latest 10.1 patch Embers of Neltharion for the Dragonflight expansion.

To get the mount, you want to reach major renown in the brand new Loamm Niffen faction that’s introduced in the new patch. Specifically, you can get the new mount in Chapter 4 of the Zaralek Cavern questline.

After getting the mount, the next step is to win at least 50 3v3 games at Elite rank in the second season of Dragonflight.

As you can see, this customization option is only obtainable via PvP. This forces players who only focus on PvE to start getting into PvP activities just to obtain this mount. And if I’m being honest, getting 50 wins actually takes quite a while.

Once you manage to get 50 wins, you will then get an item called Winding Slitherdrake: Embodiment of the Obsidian Gladiator. You simply have to use it to unlock the customization option.

You want to head to the Rostrum of Transformation to apply your newly acquired dragonriding customization option.

By default, your Winding Slitherdrake dragonriding mount will have a barebones appearance. You can customize various parts of its head, hair, armor, and skin.

The options are fairly limited. However, with the Gladiator’s Slitherdrake customization, your mount will appear bulkier with all those armor pieces and ornaments all over it.
