To get started with crafting, you first need to place down an Allforge. It costs no resources to place down but is the most important of the crafting stations in the game.

You can use the Allforge to craft other Crafting Stations, such as the Tool Grinder and Weapon Furnace. In essence, it’s the mother of all crafting stations!

At the start, we recommend setting down your Allforge and other stations close to the Tree of Life. It emanates blue pulses that heal you, making the start of the game easier.

As for the crafting stations, you want to make the Tool Grinder first. It will allow you to craft tools to gather resources which you can then use to craft even more.

Your next crafting station should be the Construction Bench. This one will allow you to actually start building a base: it lets you place down floors, walls, ceilings, etc.

You can also upgrade the Construction Bench later on which will expand your available crafting options. It’s a good idea to upgrade it as soon as you can if you wish to make a nice base.

Next, you should try to make some refining stations such as the Lumbering Stand, Mining Stand, and Tannery. They allow you to craft some refined materials, which can be used in more advanced recipes.

With all these stations set up, you should be more than ready to start building your base however you wish! Make the base of your dreams and survive in style.
