The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is a gacha so, as always, there’s a certain temptation to try and reroll to get a unit you want.

For those who don’t know what this means, it basically means creating new accounts and playing only until you get your first set of gacha rolls. Didn’t get what you wanted? Make a new account and try again!

In this guide, I’ll tell you what the reroll process works in this game and how to do it.

Rerolling Basics

To reroll in this game, you’ll need to use a masked e-mail service. Sadly, the regular salted e-mails seem to not work at all for this game! Personally, I recommend the free version of Firefox Relay.

What this essentially does is give you a “fake” e-mail address. This prevents the game from recognizing you already have an existing account.

However, any e-mails received by the fake address will just go to your normal e-mail inbox. So, as long as you don’t delete the masked e-mail in your masked e-mail provider, it’ll be all normal on your end!

Additionally, you’ll need to play about 20 minutes per reroll, and that’s with skipping the cutscenes. You’ll need to play until you reach the strange statue for the “A Strange Statue” quest, as shown above.

It’s also worth noting that the chances of getting the current SSR units are extremely low. At a collective 0.8% rate, you’re very unlikely to get the SSR you want without spending hours rerolling.

While the process itself isn’t quite as tedious as some other games, you should consider whether it’s worth doing for you nonetheless.

Either way, all I can do is tell you what to expect! If you still wish to go through with rerolling, read on for the method.

How to Reroll With a Masked E-Mail

When you have a masked e-mail ready to go, start the game by selecting to Link Netmarble ID and selecting to sign in with an e-mail. Then, create a new account using the masked e-mail address you generated.

Once you’ve created the Netmarble ID with your masked email, the game will start. At this point, just play the tutorial as normal until the Draw feature unlocks. That’s when you reach the strange statue I mentioned before.

When you get the Draw feature, I highly recommend redeeming the “WELCOMEORIGIN” Gift Code. It’ll give you 10 more pulls in the gacha. Check out our guide on how to use Gift Codes, if you need to.

At the same time, grab your login reward from the New Players Welcome event. It’s only 1 limited roll for a new account, but it’s something!

At this point, you just need to use up all of your rolls. You should have around 25 standard rolls and 1 limited roll at this point, which isn’t ideal, sadly. Still, it’s the best you can get if you wish to reroll quickly.

When you’re done rolling, open the Settings and go to Account Settings. Click on the Link button next to Link Accounts.

Then, click on Manage Linked Accounts.

At this point, you should have two accounts linked. One will be your masked email, and the other will be your Steam or PSN account, depending on the platform.

If you liked the rolls you got, go to My Profile. Click on Settings under Email there. This will allow you to replace it with your regular e-mail account. You’re all done, then!

If you want to reroll, you’ll need to unlink your Steam or PSN account. Then, close the game completely and relaunch it. The game will then prompt you to start a new adventure on the next launch, allowing you to restart the process.

In Summary

In short, to be able to reroll in The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, you’ll need to sign up with a masked e-mail and play about 20 minutes of tutorials.

The process itself is not very painful, compared to other modern gacha’s rerolling process. However, the 0.8% SSR rates can be pretty off-putting if you’re after any particular unit.

Nonetheless, at least now you know how to reroll in this game, if you still wish to go through with it!
