How to Tame Nine-Tailed Fox in Rune Factory 5

In Rune Factory 5, taming enemy bosses are similar to taming pets. Giving the enemy bosses their preferred equipment is one broad method of taming them.

Even though the likelihood of taming an enemy boss is really slim, you can still try your luck once you’re in the latter stages of the game.

Taming Nine-Tailed Fox

The Nine-Tailed Fox boss drops the Nine-Tailed Fox Bell, rare crafting material.

While taming it won’t give you the stuff you need, it does give you an incredible monster to help you on your journeys. To tame it, visit Whispering Woods: Depths after you’ve fought it once.

When the music note icon above the Nine-Tailed Fox’s head disappears, brush it. As a result, it will be friendlier and easier to capture. Instead of attacking the boss, gift it with things it likes.
