Redbeet’s survival game Raft now has fishing bait as one of the numerous goods added when early access ended, but you can’t just craft it yourself. Raft requires you to construct a brand-new machine to obtain fishing bait, but the effort is worthwhile. At the Trading Post, you can trade fish for a brand-new item that will earn you rare goods.
How to Get Special Fishing Bait in Raft
The Trading Post sells fishing bait, which costs Trash Cubes. Since most Trading Posts only have a few pieces of fishing bait available due to the fact that it is the end of the world, you will need to visit other Trading Posts if you want to stock up on bait.
One Trash Cube will get you one piece of fishing bait. You will need a Recycler to make Trash Cubes.
Purchasing Special Fishing Bait
Naturally, a Recycler blueprint is required in order to craft the Recycler. The blueprint can be found at the top of the Radio Tower, the first significant location from the beginning of the game and where you may also encounter Tala. After that, study the blueprint at a research table.
You will need the following materials for crafting:
6 Plastic
4 Metal Bars
2 Bolt
1 Circuit Board
Once the machine is built, place it wherever it will fit and power it up with a battery. Begin feeding it anything you don’t want to have around any longer.
Don’t skip collecting rocks, grass, and other materials you might otherwise disregard when you’re out and about because it takes 30 pieces to make one Trash Cube. As of the moment, food appears to be the only thing the Recycler won’t accept.
