The oceanic survival game Raft has finally released version 1.0, most widely known as Chapter 3. Thus, it’s highly likely that many players are looking for specific items like Vine Goo.

After a lengthy wait for the final release, both new and experienced Raft players may want a tutorial on where to find Vine Goo. However, you can’t just easily find it; crafting is a better choice.

How to Get Vine Goo in Raft

You can create Vine Goo by adding Seaweed to the Smelter in Raft. Then, all you have to do is wait for it to liquefy for about 50 seconds.

Coral reefs surrounding the tiny islands you encounter on your journey are covered in Seaweed. When you dive into the water, search for long seaweed stalks like the image above and grab the floating bunches.

Crafting Vine Goo

Once you have garnered your desired amount of Seaweed, head back to your raft and put them in your Smelter. Then, wait for a dark green liquid to form.

You can now add this Vine Goo to your inventory and utilize it to craft things. Vine Goo might also occasionally be found in crates or on abandoned rafts. However, the chance is so tiny that it’s not recommended to use this strategy to hoard or regularly acquire Vine Goo.
