Metal Ingots are used for crafting various stuff in the game. These include tools like the Shovel, weapons, navigation items, resources, and more. As such, it’s only practical to stock up on as many Metal Ingots as you can possibly get.

However, to get Metal Ingots, you’ll need to farm a lot of Metal Ores first. The problem is that getting Metal Ores isn’t easy since you will have to dive deep underwater. But that’s what Raft is all about. Without further, here’s how you can get your hands on lots of Metal Ores in the game.

How to Get Metal Ore in Raft

To get Metal Ore, you’ll want to dive deep underwater. You can usually find them around islands, usually on the walls. However, you will need a Hook to collect them. Also, since they’re also found deep underwater, that means you have to use Flippers as well as an Oxygen Bottle.

With Metal Ores in your inventory, the next thing you have to do is to smelt them into Metal Ingots. To do this, you’ll need a Smelter which you can craft using 4 Planks, 6 Dry Bricks, 6 Nails, and 4 pieces of Scrap.
