In the strategy simulation game Cosmoteer, you can construct your own ship and travel the universe.
You must oversee your crews as you command your fleet in huge space wars. You can play alone or with buddies. We will walk you through building your ship if you are still a beginner at the game.
Ultimate Ship Building Guide to Get You Started in Cosmoteer
You will begin by building your ship’s Reactor. The Reactor is the vessel’s beating center. It is the one that powers every part of the spacecraft, including the engines, control room, and many others.
Always position your Reactor in the back of the vessel and armor it. Keep your reactors apart from one another.
Because if the opposing ship destroys one of your Reactors, a chain explosion will result, erasing your ship. One of the most expensive components of the spacecraft is the Reactor.
Beginner’s Guide to Building a Ship
You need mobility in Cosmoteer after the Reactor. You need the appropriate number of thrusters to ensure you don’t fall behind.
In rare situations, if your ship moves too slowly, an enemy ship could pass behind you and get to your weak spots.
Your Control Room must also be secured. Even if it is damaged, your ship can still shoot at some adversaries.
They should not be placed close to reactor cores because if they are damaged, they will explode.
Your ship’s crew is vital to its success. A minimum number of people is always required to control your weapons.
The crew’s quarters should be as close as possible to your weapon system. You can squeeze them into tight spaces to reduce their travel distance.
Put armor on your ship to protect it. Some people employ shield generators instead of armor altogether. Shields, however, require energy to replenish.
However, shields can be readily damaged if an opponent ship is equipped with an Electro-Bolt weapon. At the very least, it is recommended that you armor your critical areas, such as the control room and the reactor core.
Additionally, you must position at least a few Point Defense Systems in case an attacker launches missiles at you. A fire extinguisher should be placed everywhere on your ship so the crew can stop a fire from getting to the reactors.
The Ion Beam is the game’s most powerful weapon. But they only shoot straight lines, require a large workforce, and consume a lot of energy. The Electro-Bolt stuns weapons and shields but deals less damage overall. Place the Large Cannon if you wish to employ a cannon because they deliver more damage.
You need factories to provide them with ammunition. You must do all your power to safeguard these warehouses and factories from explosions that could set off a chain reaction.
