The release of the Burning Shores DLC for Horizon Forbidden West introduced a bunch of new content for players to enjoy. There’s a whole new story for Aloy to embark on, new and exciting features, and new items to discover.

One such item is the Specter Gauntlet, a powerful weapon capable of firing homing shots at your enemies. The neat part is, you can also upgrade it to make it even stronger!

But first, you need to get your hands on the gauntlet. Let’s find out how.

In order to get your hands on the Specter Gauntlet, all you have to do is start the main quest called To The Burning Shores. This is the brand new quest that’s been introduced in the DLC.

This will prompt you to meet Sylens at Tilda’s mansion. After that, simply complete the questline until you arrive at the main quest called The Stars in Their Eyes.

The quest is pretty simple. All you have to do is inspect the weapon lying on the ground in front of you right next to a corpse.

After examining it, you’ll then be able to obtain the Specter Gauntlet which is then added to your inventory.

First off, you want to head to Fleet’s End and look for an NPC named Otosu. Speak with him and he will then give you the quest called In His Wake.

There are a few objectives for this quest.

Just follow them until you arrive at an objective that will ask you to take down Pirik. Simply defeat him and loot his corpse to obtain the Railgun Component which you’ll need to upgrade the Specter Gauntlet.
