You will be taken to the Herta Space Station as you progress the story of Honkai: Star Rail.

You may find some strange blue orbs in there. These are Memory Bubbles, though you have no means of activating them from the start.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to unlock the power to activate these strange bubbles.

To be able to use these Memory Bubbles, you first need to find one in Herta Space Station and interact with it. Of course, we assume you’ve already done that if you’re reading this!

Either way, interact with one of them and try to touch it. Your character will mention that they feel nothing as if it wasn’t even there.

Since this is the Herta Space Station, you might want to speak with the person most likely to know what these bubbles are all about – Herta herself!

You can usually find Herta at the Gallery of Shadow (First Floor) in the Storage Zone of the space station. There’s a Space Anchor nearby, making it easy to just fast-travel there.

Anyway, meet up with Herta and ask her about the Memory Bubbles. She will go on a long expository dialogue about what the bubbles are and how they work.

You can choose to ask as many questions as you want, depending on how much you want to learn about the game’s lore.

Eventually, you will get the option to ask “Can I touch the bubble now?”. Select this option and Herta will tell you how you can activate these strange bubbles.

With that done, you now just need to find a Memory Bubble and approach it. Interact with it and choose to touch it again, this time your character will be overwhelmed by sensations and memories.

Nonetheless, that’s all there is to it! You can now use any Memory Bubbles you stumble upon.
