Honkai: Star Rail has a global experience mechanic for your entire account. This is known as Trailblaze Experience and Trailblaze Level.
Unlike character levels, this won’t necessarily make you stronger. However, leveling up will give you rewards and unlock more content!
In this short guide, we’ll tell you what to do to level up your account.
How to Get Trailblaze Experience in Honkai: Star Rail
As you might imagine, you get Trailblaze Levels by reaching certain Trailblaze Experience milestones.
Trailblaze Experience is gained by nearly everything you do in the game. Even opening chests will give you experience sometimes!
One of the best ways to get experience is by completing the Daily Missions, also known as Daily Training. These small quests change every single day and are a good source of experience.
You can also get loads of Trailblaze Experience by taking on Calyx challenges. These are flowers that will allow you to challenge waves of foes when you spend Trailblaze Power.
The more power you use up, the harder the challenges will be. Of course, that also means you will get even more experience!
Don’t overdo it though. Instead, choose a challenge level that you know your party is actually capable of completing.
Additionally, you can get a good amount of experience by progressing through the Simulated Universe. This is a challenging optional dungeon that’s operated by Herta.
Extra worlds will unlock as you progress the story and complete previous worlds. Reaching milestones in this dungeon will grant you massive rewards, including Trailblaze Experience.
Lastly, you want to complete Side Quests. These are found all over the game’s worlds. Some are given to you by NPCs while others are simply hidden throughout the areas you visit.
You never know where a side quest will pop up! As such, we recommend that you stay vigilant and explore every nook and cranny.
Venezuelan gamer cursed by being interested by most games, resulting in a ridiculous backlog he’ll never be able to conquer. Been gaming for over two decades now! Few things exemplify his wide variety in gaming tastes as the fact that he’s a big fan of both Souls games and the Atelier series at the same time. Also a big fan of Yakuza/Like a Dragon, Deadly Premonition, Zero Escape, and Dead Rising, among others. Considers Lost Judgment and Sekiro to both be masterpieces.
