Celia Mae is Mike Wazowki’s girlfriend from the classic film Monster Inc. and one of the unlockable racers in Disney Speedstorm.

She’s a Defender Class racer, meaning she specializes in fending off others’ attacks more than in attacking.

In this guide, we’ll tell you what to do to unlock her as a playable racer.

Like most other racers, you unlock Celia Mae once you obtain 10 of her character shards. Celia Mae’s shards can be obtained in a multitude of ways.

The simplest way is to earn them by completing objectives for the “Not in the Mood for Sushi” event. You can find events in the “Limited Event” screen, accessible from the game’s main menu.

In the Limited Event screen, look for the “Not in the Mood for Sushi” event that has Celia Mae in the icon. Open it to see the list of objectives.

Most of the objectives are challenge races you can partake in, some of which will require you to do specific things during the races as well. You can also see the event’s rewards, which will require you to reach a variety of milestones.

The first milestone is 5 Celia Mae Racer Shards for completing 4 objectives from the event. That’s not enough to unlock her, though!

The third milestone is what you should aim for. This one will give you 10 Celia Mae Racer Shards once you complete 12 event objectives. That will instantly unlock her as a playable character for you!

Alternatively, you can obtain her shards by buying the Monster Inc. Box in the shop. The rewards are random though, so you might get shards for other characters instead. We don’t recommend it.

Simply focus on completing Celia Mae’s limited event and you will unlock her. The “Not in the Mood for Sushi” event will end on June 5th, 2023.
