There are literally dozens of classes for you to unlock in Disgaea 7, but all of them are done through quests.

The requirements of the quests vary, sure, but this means that the Quest Shop is your one-stop shop for classes.

Classes you can unlock in Disgaea 7 can also be broken down into two main categories: Human and Monster. Both are just unlocked by completing quests, though!

Note that every quest that unlock as class says its reward is “Creatable:” and the class name.

Now, before we dive into each quest you need to do, let’s first go over some of the common requirement types and how they work.

Some of the quests will task you with getting a unit of a certain rank. This is completely separate from raising their proficiency, however!

Instead, you need to go over to the Recruiter in the hub and recruit the unit at the requested rank. For example, recruit a Rank 2 Warrior unit for the Loyal Blade quest.

These recruited units will count toward the quest’s progression as long as they’re part of your army.

On the other hand, some quests will instead require you to level up a unit’s Weapon Mastery, also known as WM.It doesn’t matter which unit you use for these quests.

A unit’s WM with a specific weapon will increase as long as they just keep using it. For example, keep having a unit use a Bow and their mastery with it will go up.

Have at least one unit reach the minimum WM level asked by the quest and you’re done!

With all that said, let’s dive into how to unlock every single class, starting with the Human ones.

Human Classes

For this section, we’ll be listing each class you can unlock and the name of the quest that unlocks them. We’ll also give you the quest objective and any important pointers to help you out!

Ranger and Archer – On the Hunt. Have a unit reach Level 5 Weapon Mastery with Bows.

Gunner and Gunslinger – Picking a Partner. Have a unit reach Level 5 Weapon Mastery with Guns.

Ninja and Kunoichi – Ninja Nite. Turn in a fee of 5000 HL.

Samurai – Loyal Blade. Have a Rank 2 Warrior OR Valkyrie and a Rank 2 Archer OR Ranger.

Armor Knight – Worthy of Guarding. Turn in an Armor piece with 300 or more DEF.

Sorcerer – Sorcerer’s Apprentice. Be attacked by enemies 100 times.

Maiko – Maiko Green Room. Turn in one Angel Cake. The easiest way to get it is by buying it from a Mystery Room Shop in the Item World. It only appears when you pick the Mystery Room Route, though!

Magic Knight – Magical Warrior. Give out 1000 Mana from the Juice Bar.

Psychic – Psychic Squadron. Turn in a Gun with 300 INT or more.

Professor – Questing 101. Turn in Glasses with 300 INT or more.

Mecha Girl – Robot Army. Recruit a Rank 4 Samurai, a Rank 4 Armor Knight, and a Rank 4 Psychic.

Celestial Hostess – Heavenly Hostess. Recruit a Rank 4 Sorcerer, a Rank 4 Maiko, and a Rank 4 Professor.

Monster Classes

Now, it’s the monsters’ turn to shine!

Felynn – Felynn Frisky. Have a character with a Monster Weapon WM of Level 5 or higher.

Sea Angel – Living Conditions. The quest states that you have to turn in 10 Angel Cakes, but this is an error! You need to turn in 10 of any healing item instead. Mint Gum is a good choice as it’s the cheapest.

Flora Beast – Flora and the Beast. Turn in 10 SP Extracts from the Juice Bar.

Zombie Maiden – Leap of Faith. Defeat over 100 enemy units.

Succubus – Seductive Demon. Turn in Strange Feelers with a rarity of “Rare” or higher. This item can be bought from the shop in Episode 3’s Netherworld Sightseeing mode.

Evil Eye – Evil Eye Elite. Turn in a Secret Scroll. It doesn’t have to be a specific one, any will do. You can create these later in the game by passing the Secret Scroll bill at the Dark Assembly.

Horseman – Promised Spear. Turn in any Spear with a rarity of Legendary or higher. This relies on random chance but you can usually get them as rewards from the Item World or Netherworld Research.

Dragon – Treasure & Dragons. Defeat a Dragon enemy unit that’s level 100 or higher. These enemies appear frequently in higher ranks of the Item World.

Pincer Shell – Pincer Shells United. Turn in Premium Crab Brains. You can get this by donating a Gold Bar to the crab NPC in Episode 6’s Netherworld Sightseeing mode.

Rifle Demon – Target Practice. Get any unit to level 100 or higher.

Big Eye – Eye on the Prize. Find a hidden Big Eye in the Hinomoto Netherworlds. Go into Episode 5’s Netherworld Sightseeing, then rotate your camera and check the spot shown on the image.
