Disgaea 7 has an absurd level cap of 9999, which is fitting of the series. As such, you’ll need to powerlevel if you want to level up quickly!
It would take forever to reach level 9999 normally, right?
Well, in this guide we’ll tell you how to reach the level cap quickly! So read on and we’ll dive into how to powerlevel quickly.
How to Level Up Quickly and Reach 9999 in Disgaea 7
Before starting, there’s some prep work to go over. The first and easiest part of the prep work is that you need to unlock the Episode 2 stage, Topsy-Turvy Ewwdo.
Once that’s done, you’ll want to start getting every EXP boost you can!
The first EXP boost you want to get is the “Development Support” Evility. It can be obtained from the in-game gacha system and it boosts the EXP gain of adjacent allies by 50%.
Try to get this Evility on every one of the characters you wish to powerlevel!
The second EXP boost is the “Gimme Triple XP!” bill from the Dark Assembly. Make sure you have a lot of HL, though.
This bill is almost always rejected, but you can choose to “Pay Up” to convince the assembly to pass it. Money is power, even in the Netherworld!
Last but not least, visit the Cheat Shop in the hub. Lower everything other than EXP as much as you can, then use your CP to increase the EXP rate as much as possible.
With that done, there’s only one last thing to do: get the right spell! This powerleveling method relies on having one unit casting buff spells.
The easiest buff spell to get is most likely Magic Boost from Pirilika. Take her to the Skill Shop and enhance the range of Magic Boost up to at least Level 5 or Level 6.
Don’t bother enhancing power, though, as it will make the spell require way more SP to use. It’s not needed for powerleveling, at least!
With all of that prep work ready and dealt with, it’s time to get into the actual powerleveling itself. It’s time to level up quickly!
Topsy-Turvy Ewwdo Powerleveling Method
So now that everything is in place for you to level up quickly, go into the Topsy-Turvy Ewwdo stage. As said previously, this is part of Disgaea 7’s Episode 2 in the story.
As soon as the stage starts, pull out your buffer and another unit. In this case, we’ll go with Pirilika as our buffer and Fuji as our other unit.
Pirilika should kill any enemies that approach her, while Fuji should go to the bottom part of the stage where a Geo Symbol is.
See here by the two piglike demons? Fuji has to reach this Geo Symbol and lift it. Kill the enemies that get in your way, as usual.
Don’t approach enemies unnecessarily, though. Avoid triggering and killing every enemy on the map, or they will prevent you from powerleveling!
Once Fuji has the Geo Symbol, go directly opposite of the Geo Symbol. You will find a magical boost field there.
Throw the Geo Symbol onto the magic field and then gather your party close together. It’s time to start leveling up quickly!
Your party’s formation should look somewhat like the picture above. The idea here is that they all need to be within range of Pirilika’s Magic Boost spell.
Units other than Pirilika should Defend to ensure that they get EXP, as well. They won’t get any EXP if they aren’t defending, which is just one of the game’s quirks.
Now, you just need to cast Magic Boost ensuring that it hits every unit in your party. Pirilika will gain loads of EXP, and so will the defending units!
You can do this until you get tired or Pirilika runs out of SP. After all, enemy units won’t bother approaching you if you do everything right, so just quickly level up to your heart’s content!
