Call of Duty MW3: How to Fix Menu/Loading Screen Loop

New releases sometimes mean new loops, ups!

Call of Duty MW3 Season 1 Reloaded came with a lot of new add-ons, but it also brought a few new bugs. In particular, the menu loop bug is causing major problems for almost all the players.

Long queue times are causing many players to get stuck on a loading screen, which makes it impossible for them to get in a queue for a lobby.

As it is now, there’s a permanent solution, and we believe there will be a patch soon, but there are plenty of workarounds to fix this issue. We will share with you some of the best solutions to get into your game as soon as possible.

How to Fix Menu/Loading Screen Loop

When you are about to start a game, you will see a loading screen that will say it’s fetching data from the servers. You’ll be able to see the menu briefly, but it will go back to fetching data again and get stuck in this loop. The best solutions available to fix this are:

Restart your game

Restarting your game a couple of times seems to work, according to the COD community. This isn’t the best solution, but it allows your game to load the servers, even with an overload. You can also reset your modem and router, just in case.

If you’re not playing during peak times and your hardware isn’t working properly, you shouldn’t have problems. We suggest you unplug them, wait 10 seconds, then plug them back in and relaunch the game.

Mash the start button

Some Redditors suggest that you mash the start button on your controller, or escape on your keyboard, and wait for the best. Normally, this only shows the settings, but if you press the right, you will end the loop.

Check the servers before playing

If the MW3 servers are down, you won’t be able to play the game, no matter what. Before playing, check if the servers are working and verify the server’s availability. If they are too full, you will need to wait until their capacity increases. Try playing during off-hours on a server from a different region.

New releases sometimes mean new bugs, and many gamers learned this lesson the hard way. These aren’t the best ways to fix your problem, but until a new patch is released, there isn’t much you can do. Hopefully, this will be fixed soon, and there will be more servers up for more players.
