AndrésZZZ (Zenless Zone Zero) lets you help out around New Eridu by completing all of Officer Mewmew’s Challenges while exploring the world, with the first set of challenges being Sixth Street Page 1.
These challenges are first presented to you through the game’s main story, near the tail end of chapter 1. You can complete them at your own leisure whenever you have free time to explore Sixth Street. It’s well worth your time, considering you get things such as Polychromes, Inter-Knot Credits, and upgrade materials!
In this guide, we’ll cover all of Mewmew’s Challenges available under the Page 1 section for Sixth Street.
Mewmew’s Challenges & Medals in Sixth Street (Page 1)
Before we start going down the list of challenges one by one, we should first give you some general pointers:
- If an NPC you need for a challenge is missing, try leaving and reentering the area to force it to reload.
- There can’t be multiple NPCs in the same spot. Some NPCs might prevent others from appearing. Complete the quests and events for the NPCs that are available first so that the others can appear.
- The exact unlock timing for some events and commissions is still somewhat unclear, sadly. If an event is still unavailable for you, keep progressing through the story and leveling up your Inter-Knot Account.
- You might also need to complete certain challenges before later ones can unlock. Look for ones that say you need to complete “Part 1” of a commission and do those first.
- Check Mewmew’s notes. If it says Officer Mewmew is still investigating, you still need to progress more to unlock the respective challenges and medals
- Bangboo rewiring puzzles for the Timely Assistance challenges vary between players. These appear to be some randomization based on the order in which you do the challenges. As such, we can’t provide exact directions to solving these puzzles. Nonetheless, they should be pretty simple to solve.
With all that laid down, let’s dive into every one of Officer Mewmew’s Challenges and Medals required to complete Page 1 for Sixth Street in ZZZ!
Keen Senses Medal
This one is probably the easiest on this list, and you are likely to have completed it before you even unlocked Mewmew’s Challenges. All you have to do is to find all 6 Mini Cargo Trucks lost around Sixth Street. These are essentially chests full of resources you can collect!
Check out our detailed guide on where to find them all easily for the full breakdown. But here’s a quick summary of how to find each one of them as well.
One of them is up the stairs of the green Remodeling Shop next to Random Play.
Another is down an alley near the street exit. You can reach it most easily by facing the Bardic Needle shop and going to your left.
Our third one is right behind where Officer Mewmew is. Just go down the street behind Howl’s Newsstand and the Godfinger Arcade.
For the fourth one, face the Godfinger Arcade and check its right side. You should spot the Mini Cargo Truck in the parking lot between the arcade and the convenience store.
The fifth one is in front of the entrance to the Metro Station by the Box Galaxy Gadget Store, next to the green fence.
Lastly, go down the street between Coff Café and the Noodle Shop. Take a left once you reach the roadblock and you should spot the Mini Cargo Truck next to a container.
That’s all of these Mini Cargo Trucks on Sixth Street! This is probably the most rewarding of all of Mewmew’s Challenges in ZZZ, honestly.
Kind Helper Medal I
This one becomes available during the Evening when you are at Inter-Knot Level 16. There should be a blue-haired woman named Serene by the Waterfall Soup Noodle Shop. Talk to her to start “The Ridu Tour – Part 1” commission.
All Serene really wants from you is to take a picture of a shop on Sixth Street. It can be any store you want, such as the 141 Convenience Store, Waterfall Soup Noodle Shop, or the Box Galaxy Gadget Store. Simply use your in-game camera to take a photo of any of them and then return to Serene to complete the commission and earn this medal.
Kind Helper Medal II
For this medal you’ll need to first reach Level 27 and complete Chapter 2 of the main story. Then go to Sixth Street in the Morning.
Serene needs help again! This is the same blue-haired woman you helped out for the previous medal and she’s once again next to the Noodle Shop. Talk to her and she’ll once again ask for another photo that shows one of the stores on Sixth Street, starting “The Ridu Tour – Part 2” commission. More specifically, Serene wants to show the hard-working staff at one of the shops.
Just like before, any of the shops on Sixth Street counts as long as you can see an employee at work. For example, the three Bangboo out in front of 141 Convenience Store or General Chop at the Noodle Shop. Either way, you just need to snap one photo of any of them and come back to Serene to complete the commission and earn the medal!
Kind Helper Medal III
This medal requires you to complete the “5th Work Anniversary Photo” commission. It becomes available on Sixth Street during the Evening once you reach Inter-Knot Level 29.
When you meet all of those conditions, head over to 141 Convenience Store and talk with the Bangboo out in front. They will talk about how they’ve persevered at work for 5 years and want to celebrate with a photo. So, stand in front of them and use your in-game camera to take a nice photo of the Bangboo trio!
Speak to the Bangboo again after taking the photo to complete the commission and earn this medal.
Kind Helper Medal IV
You should be able to get this medal as soon as you unlock Mewmew’s Challenges in ZZZ, you just need to go to Sixth Street in the Morning.
Check the street behind the 141 Convenience Store and you should spot two Bangboo arguing over soccer. Speak with them and agree to demonstrate your dribbling skills to start the “King of Street Soccer – Part 1” commission.
All you really have to do is “kick” the ball toward the Coach Explorey Bangboo. Just walk towards the ball and you’ll automatically push it as you move. You’ll complete the commission and earn the medal once you show off your prowess to the Bangboo!
Kind Helper Medal V
You can get this medal once you have the Kind Helper Medal IV. Go to the street corner by the Box Galaxy Gadget Store on Sixth Street during the Morning.
You should once again see Coach Explorey and Player Rocketz having an issue over soccer. Just like before, you’ll be asked to show off your dribbling skills. Agree to initiate the “King of Street Soccer – Part 2” commission.
This works the exact same as the previous dribbling test from Part 1 of the questline. It’s a bit trickier since you have to go around the corner and take the ball to Player Rocketz, but it’s still simple. If the ball gets into a bad spot, talk to Coach Explorey and ask him to reset positions.
Either way, get the ball to the Player Rocketz Bangboo and you’ll complete the commission and earn another shiny medal!
Kind Helper Medal VI
The last Kind Helper Medal on Page 1 of Sixth Street Mewmew’s Challenges in ZZZ. This one requires you to progress the main story until you’ve recovered the first two smart machines in Chapter 2.
With the requirements met, go over to Sixth Street during the Afternoon and look for a pair of students near the Noodle Shop. Listen in to their conversation to initiate the “Fluffy Trouble” commission!
After you talk with the students, check in with the Tin Master at Coff Café and General Chop at the Noodle Shop. You need to ask them if they’ve seen an increase in stray cat activity as of late. When you’re done talking with them, rest up and wait for Evening.
During the Evening, go near the Sage in a Barrel on Sixth Street. You should spot one of the students again, now surrounded by cats near the trash can. Approach her and talk to her, which will make her flee. This will mark the commission as completed and unlock the Kind Helper Medal VI for you.
Chivalrous Spirit I
This is the first of a subset of Mewmew’s Challenges which require you to help out Bangboo on Sixth Street, but without having to do the rewiring puzzle like the Timely Assistance requests in ZZZ. Most Chivalrous Spirit challenges just require you to listen to some dialogue!
To start this one, go all the way down the street between the Noodle Shop and Coff Café on Sixth Street during the Afternoon. You should spot a Bangboo with glasses near the roadblock, simply called Thesis Bangboo.
Speak to the nerdy little fella and he’ll talk about how his mentor sent him to speak with Howl on Sixth Street. No matter which options you pick, you just need to finish the dialogue with him to complete this challenge.
Chivalrous Spirit II
This one requires you to talk to the One-Dennyboo behind Howl’s Newsstand at Night. Talk with it and it will read your fortune, then proceed to charge you a 1 Denny fee.
Now, you can choose to give it a beatdown instead of paying the fee but why would you be mean enough to do that!? Well, you should complete the challenge as soon as the dialogue is over either way.
For the record, though, we chose to pay the 1 Denny fee. You get Dennies by the thousands anyway!
Chivalrous Spirit III
For this one, you have to visit the street exit near the Remodeling Shop on Sixth Street during the Morning. That’s right next to Random Play, for reference.
You should spot a Bangboo with a paper bag called “Muahaha Bangboo”. Simply approach him and complete his dialogue to complete this challenge!
Chivalrous Spirit IV
You can complete this challenge by listening in to the Gourmetboo in front of the Box Galaxy Gadget Shop during the Evening. There’s nothing for you to do other than just hearing what Gourmetboo and his buddy Bangboo talk about how the different types of electrical currents. The challenge will be marked as completed as soon as the dialogue ends!
Timely Assistance Medal I
This medal is unmissable, as you should get it as part of the tutorial when you first unlock Mewmew’s Challenges in ZZZ by meeting him on Sixth Street. All you have to do is to fix the Wild Bangboo as part of the tutorial. You’ll just need to complete a very simple rewiring puzzle!
However, this does serve as an introduction to a small type of quest you’ll need to do for Mewmew in the future. There are broken Bangboo around New Eridu which requires your help, just like this Wild Bangboo. Find them, rewire their circuits, and claim your rewards from Mewmew.
Timely Assistance Medal II
Another Bangboo request that involves a rewiring puzzle. You can start this one by talking to the Poor Bangboo near 141 Convenience Store in the Morning. It’s a black Bangboo near a cat, it seemingly got messed up by the scared kitty.
Simply complete the simple rewiring puzzle to complete another one of Mewmew’s Sixth Street Challenges in ZZZ. Remember, though, the puzzles aren’t exactly the same for every player!
Timely Assistance Medal III
For this one, you need to fix the Transforming Bangboo on the street behind Coff Café and the Noodle Shop. It only appears during the Afternoon. Complete the rewiring puzzle and you’re all set here!
Timely Assistance Medal IV
The last Bangboo rescue on our list requires you to visit the corner by the Noodle Shop during the Evening. You should spot the damaged Treasure Hunt Bangboo there, sitting behind a bike. Interact with it and solve the rewiring puzzle to complete the challenge!
Silver Talent Seeker Medal
You will meet the Sage in a Barrel in Sixth Street during the main story of ZZZ at around the same time as when you unlock Mewmew’s Challenges. It’s a strange person who lives on a trashcan by the 141 Convenience Store and he wants you to get HIA Commemorative Coins for him. He has worthwhile rewards to pay for them, so it’s definitely worth your time!
Collect 9 out of HIA Commemorative Coins in Sixth Street to complete this challenge. There are 18 HIA Commemorative Coins in Sixth Street, but you only need half of them for this medal. Nonetheless, it’s a good idea to try to get them all since you get nice rewards from the Sage in the Barrel. Plus, you need all 18 for Page 2 of Mewmew’s Sixth Street Challenges anyway.
Let’s go over where to get them all now!
Elis at the Noodle Shop
This should be the first HIA Commemorative Coin you get. It’s introduced to you as part of the game’s main story during Chapter 1 Intermission. Simply speak with Elis at the Noodle Shop on Sixth Street to get the coin from him!
Sjal at Random Play
This one should be another early one for you. Just talk to Sjal in front of RandomPlay during the Morning. You can recognize her by her overalls and purple pigtails. Complete her dialogue and she’ll give you the coin!
Coff Café’s Fragrant Plant
You can get this HIA Commemorative Coin during the Morning. Simply check the sparkling Fragrant Plant outside of Coff Café to pick it up.
Helping Mrs. Yani
This is the first of the more involved HIA Commemorative Coin locations on Sixth Street, though it’s still pretty simplistic by ZZZ standards. To begin, talk to Mrs. Yani in the Morning. She’s near the Sixth Street exit in front of Random Play.
The old lady, Mrs. Yani, seems to have picked up a HIA Commemorative Coin and can’t figure out what to do with it. To help her, go talk with the “Give Change” Bangboo in front of 141 Convenience Store.
After exhausting his dialogue, go back to Mrs. Yani and she’ll end up giving you the HIA Commemorative Coin after talking for a bit!
Luo and Phil
For this one, you need to listen to Luo and Phil in front of the Remodeling Shop during the Morning. They’ll say something about dropping a seemingly useless coin in a crate nearby.
After overhearing their conversation, just go up the Remodeling Shop’s stairs and interact with the Empty Crate!
Travis at Random Play
During the Afternoon, you should spot a man with a blue shirt right outside of Random Play. Simply talk with him and exhaust his dialogue to get a HIA Commemorative Coin from him.
Lupita at 141 Convenience Store
In the Afternoon, go to the payphone in front of the 141 Convenience Store on Sixth Street. You should see a girl in a dress with short ponytails. Talk with her and complete the dialogue to get a HIA Commemorative Coin from her.
If you’ve followed this guide in order, this would be the halfway point for HIA Commemorative Coins. It’s enough to complete get the Silver Talent Seeker Medal! However, we recommend that you continue reading and get them all while you’re at it. You’d need to do so later anyway, and the rewards are worth the effort.
Photographing Clara
For this one, you have to go near the Sixth Street exit by Random Play in the Afternoon. If you’ve been following along with this guide, it’s the same spot as when we previously met Mrs. Yani. You should see a pink-haired girl on her phone called Clara.
Talk with her and she’ll ask you to take a photo of her. So, pull out your in-game camera and get a nice candid shot of Clara then talk to her again. She’ll thank you and give you a HIA Commemorative Coin as a reward!
Pavol Chuck and Clara
In the Afternoon, go near the Sage in a Barrel and you should see a man talking with the pink-haired girl from the previous coin, Pavol Chuck and Clara. Listen in on their conversation and they’ll end up asking you to try acting out a scene for them.
All you have to do is approach the Sage in a Barrel and talk with him, then talk to Pavol Chuck and Clara again to get your HIA Commemorative Coin as a reward!
Bardic Needle’s Packing Crate
While it’s Afternoon, check out the yellow Packing Crate in front of the Bardic Needle shop. It’s across from your own Random Play store, so you can’t miss it! It’s one of the easiest HIA Commemorative Coin locations for Sixth Street in ZZZ.
Coff Café’s Mr Panda
Go to Coff Café in the Afternoon and check the Mr. Panda doll by the shop’s entrance. Interact with it to pick up the HIA Commemorative Coin.
Random Play’s Staff Locker
This is probably the trickiest of all the 18 HIA Commemorative Locations for Sixth Street in ZZZ, mainly because it’s not really within Sixth Street itself. It’s actually inside the staff room of Random Play, where you access the HDD for commissions!
Just check the locker in front of the Workbench during the Evening to grab this sneaky coin.
Jonah at Godfinger Arcade
During the Evening, you should find a male student named Jonah outside of the Godfinger Arcade. Talk with him and complete his dialogue to get the HIA Commemorative Coin from him.
Hannah at 141 Convenience Store
While it’s Evening, go to the 141 Convenience Store on Sixth Street and look for a woman with long hair and a black dress. Talk to her and she’ll complain that the vending machine on the parking lot to the left of the store is broken.
Go interact with the vending machine to trigger a “dialogue” which will result in you fixing the machine. Then, return to Hannah in front of the convenience store and tell her your results with the vending machine. She’ll reward you with a HIA Commemorative Coin!
Roy at 141 Convenience Store
This one is similar to the previous one. You once again have to go to the 141 Convenience Store in the Evening and look for a male student with a red ponytail called Roy. Complete his dialogue by telling him that you will pay 300 Dennies for his HIA Commemorative Coin and you’re all done!
Dumpster by Officer Mewmew
Remember Officer Mewmew? Go visit him behind Howl’s Newsstand during the Evening and you should see that that the dumpster next to him is sparkling. Simply interact with the dumpster to get the HIA Commemorative Coin.
Gerant and Sita
At Midnight, visit the Sixth Street exit near Random Play. You should see a Public Security officer called Gerant right in front of the Remodeling Building. Talk to him and you’ll learn that he’s on patrol with another officer, a woman called Sita, but he’s too afraid to move.
Leave Gerant and go speak with Sita behind Howl’s Newsstand. She’ll give you some coins, asking you to tell Gerant that they’re protective amulets to see if that helps him overcome his fears.
Return to Gerant one last time and give him the “amulets” Sita gave you. He’ll overcome his fears and thank you by giving you one of the “amulets”, which is just an HIA Commemorative Coin!
Box Galaxy’s Skateboard Bench
At long last, we’re almost done with all of the 18 HIA Commemorative Coin locations for Sixth Street in ZZZ! It’s an easy one to get, too. Go to the Box Galaxy Gadget Shop at Midnight and check the Skateboard Bench near the Bangboo statue. You’ll pick up the HIA Commemorative Coin as soon as you interact with it!
Now, that’s all of the HIA Commemorative Coins you can get from Sixth Street. Make sure to return to the Sage in a Barrel to trade these coins in for some sweet rewards.
Nonetheless, you should have completed all of Mewmew’s Challenges in Sixth Street Page 1 in ZZZ. Make sure to check out our complete guide for ALL Mewmew’s Challenges in Sixth Street Page 2 as well!
