XDefiant: How to Unlock TAC-50 Weapon

The TAC-50 in XDefiant is the perfect weapon for anyone looking for a one-shot one-kill sniper rifle. A shot to the chest or headshot with this weapon is a guaranteed kill, but at the same time, it has an extremely low fire rate and very high recoil.

This makes the TAC-50 a very high-risk and high-reward weapon. Like plenty of other weapons in this game, you must unlock the weapon before you can equip it. So, what do you need to do in order to unlock the TAC-50 sniper rifle in XDefiant?

How to Unlock TAC-50 Weapon

To get yourself the TAC-50 sniper rifle in XDefiant, you must get 10 sniper rifle One Shot kills. One Shot kills are exactly what the name suggests, kills using one bullet of the weapon. In terms of difficulty, this is probably one of the easiest weapon challenges in the game.

The main thing that might make this challenge a bit difficult is the fact that sniper rifles other than the TAC-50 can only One Shot kill with headshots. Over time though, most players are bound to get 10 headshots by simply playing the game.

Once the TAC-50 is unlocked, you can build your very own custom loadout with the TAC-50 as the primary weapon. As it is a sniper rifle, the TAC-50 excels at long distances and isn’t the best when it comes to close-quarter combat.

You can also unlock various sidearms and devices in XDefiant to better complement your TAC-50 loadout. Devices like the Proximity Mine are extremely potent for covering flanks, which is extremely useful when using sniper rifles.
