The Sticky Grenade in XDefiant is in many ways the more advanced version of the Frag Grenade. Instead of bouncing around when it lands, the Sticky Grenade will instead stick to surfaces, or even people if you hit them. This makes the Sticky Grenade extremely reliable at what it does.
Like all Devices in this game, you can equip the Sticky Grenade to any of your load outs. To do that though, you will first need to unlock it. We will be looking at what you need to do in order to unlock the Sticky Grenade in XDefiant.
How to Unlock Sticky Grenade Device
You can Unlock the Sticky Grenade device by inflicting 25 status conditions with Devices. This doesn’t have to be with the Sticky Grenade specifically, so you can utilize any Device in the game.
Status conditions in XDefiant are negative effects that disarm the enemy or make it harder for them to play the game. A good example of this will be a stun effect, which makes it much easier for you to win a gunfight vs them.
Almost all challenges in XDefiant can be completed across multiple games. The Sticky Grenade one is no different, so you can slowly work towards it whenever you like.
How to Inflict Status Conditions
The best Device to inflict status conditions within XDefiant is probably the Flashbang Grenade. It is extremely easy to use and any enemy stunned by your Flashbang will count towards the challenge.
Even if you haven’t unlocked the Flashbang Grenade, you can use the game’s preset loadouts to complete the challenge. The SMG preset loadout comes equipped with the Flashbang Grenade as its Device. Consistently using your Device in game will help you complete the Sticky Grenade challenge in no time at all.
Once the Sticky Grenade is unlocked, you can freely equip it to any of your custom loadouts. The Sticky Grenade goes well with almost any weapon, so it’s a must have in a game like XDefiant.
