XDefiant: How to Unlock MP7 Weapon

Out of all the different weapon classes in FPS games, the SMG class is often the most popular one. SMGs are known for their high mobility and damage in mid to close range engagements. In XDefiant this is no different, as most players would consider SMGs to be the strongest weapon class in the game.

If you are someone who doesn’t like anything more than getting up close and personal against their opponents and then unleashing hell upon them, then look no further than the MP7. It’s a great weapon for players who like playing aggressively and want a reliable gun. To use the weapon though, you must first unlock it.

How to Unlock MP7 Weapon

Unlocking the MP7 is fairly easy and straightforward. First, go to your home screen and click on challenges. Then, switch on over to the base challenges where you will see a list of all the different unlockable weapons. From there, select the MP7 to view its description and Unlock requirement, which reads “Get 20 SMG Point-Blank Kills(<5m)”.

So basically, you should get as close as possible to your enemies before killing them with an SMG. The best way to complete this challenge quickly is to employ an aggressive playstyle, where you will actively seek to maximize your kills.

You should use cover, in the form of walls and objects,  as you are closing down on your enemies, so they have difficulty in being able to see you coming. This will enable you to get the jump on them in a close quarters situation, where you will likely come out on top as SMGs excel in close-range situations.

Level Up Your MP7 to Further Improve It

After you unlock the MP7, continue to use the same aggressive playstyle that earned you this SMG to quickly level it up and unlock new attachments. Fully leveling up a weapon in XDefiant will net you all of its attachments, which will make your weapon even more powerful than before.

Your fire rate, weapon sway, reload speed, and other measures can all be improved with the addition of these new attachments. Thus, using the right combination of attachments on a strong weapon, such as the MP7, will empower you to outperform your allies and dominate your opponents.
