XDefiant: How to Unlock MDR Weapon

The brand-new FPS from Ubisoft has been active for almost a week, and players are having a blast. Between the factions, maps, and gameplay, XDefiant seems to have been a hit. But arguably the most important part of an FPS is its weapons, one of which is the MDR.

Getting this assault rifle is no easy feat, however, so we’re here to explain just how to unlock the MDR Weapon in XDefiant.

How to Unlock MDR Weapon

If you’re a weapon-lover or collector, no doubt you’ll be itching to get your hands on every possible gun and device in the game. While the MDR Assault Rifle is a slightly more difficult unlock than others, it’s still fairly straightforward.

With other unlockable weapons, you will need to complete specific challenges to get your hands on them. Things like dealing 4,000 damage with assault rifles to be able to unlock the AK-47, which may take some time, but is far from impossible.

In some cases, you may even need to spend money on the game. With the MDR, however, you don’t: unlocking it is totally free! All you have to do is reach level 10 of the pre-season Battle Pass. Do this, and the MDR Assault Rifle is yours!

With its launch on May 21, XDefiant is set to run in its pre-season for six weeks. Since we don’t yet know if the MDR will return for Season 1, this may be your only chance to unlock it. Make sure you grab it by July 2, as this is when the Battle Pass will end!
