XDefiant: How to Unlock AK-47 Weapon

XDefiant is a free-to-play, fast-paced arena shooter that has been gaining a lot of traction since its release.

Players will want to try as many weapons as possible to know which ones fit their playstyle and skills the most. However, only one weapon from each of the 6 weapon classes is available to play with from the start. The rest have to be unlocked through base challenges, with each weapon having a specific requirement.

The AK-47 is an assault rifle beloved by many in the shooter genre. In XDefiant, it is a challenging but rewarding weapon to use, if you’re a skilled and knowledgeable player.

Although it has a poor fire rate and handling, it also possesses the highest damage in the assault rifle class. Having said that, you will have to unlock it first if you wish to enjoy its benefits.

How to Unlock AK-47 Weapon

Unlocking the AK-47 is relatively simple. You will need to Deal 4,000 Damage with Assault Rifles to unlock it. You can use the M4A1, the starting assault rifle, or any other assault rifle to complete this challenge.

As each enemy has a 100 HP, around 40 kills are enough to meet the requirement. You don’t even have to kill your enemies. Just damaging them from afar whenever you can will help you progress towards the completion of this challenge 

So jump in an online match and try to get as many kills as possible with an assault rifle, so you can get around to mastering this iconic weapon.

After you Unlock it

Once you unlock the AK-47, use it frequently so you can quickly level it up and unlock new attachments along the way. With experience under your belt and a fully customized AK-47, you will learn to decimate your opponents like never before! Just remember to fire this bad boy in short, controlled bursts, as it is said to be the tried-and-true way of using this weapon.

If Assault rifles are not for you, then don’t fret. There are still 5 different weapon classes to choose from, including shotguns and snipers. You will likely get bored if you only use a few weapons, so try to unlock and master as many weapons as possible. That is the key to becoming a formidable XDefiant player.
