The recent update of Wuthering Waves came with a huge selection of new content for players to discover and complete. This includes a new region with large sub areas that have their own individual exploration objectives, which will also reward you with all kinds of valuable resources and even bits of lore. In this guide, we will be covering The Three Fratellis’ Challenge at the Whisperwind Haven area.
Whisperwind Haven Exploration – The Three Fratellis’ Challenge Guide
To start this challenge, you must first go to Egla Town, which can be found to the southeast of Ragunna City. Here, you will find an NPC named Fratellino near the huge fountain in town.
Your first objective here will be to find lost pages to complete his unfinished book. To do this, you will need to turn into Lottie Lost and follow the trail of pages that it shows you in order to restore the book to its proper form.
This is incredibly simple. Just follow the trail that is shown to you from start to finish. In this example, you just have to walk over the path that was marked with a glowing line, which is vaguely shaped like the letter N.
Once that is done, speak with Fratellino once more and claim the chest that appears on the fountain. After that, you can now head over to the next area, which is the Silver Moon Grove on the island far north of Ragunna City.
There, you are going to find yet another Fratellino NPC. Speak with him and, just like the previous one, he will ask you to get the pages for his unfinished book by transforming into Lottie Lost and following the trail.
This time, the trail you have to follow is shaped like a heart. This one is a little harder to follow accurately due to how curvy the shape is, but if you move fast enough at the start, you should be able to follow most of the trail before the lines on the floor disappear.
When you are done, speak with the brother once more and an Advanced Supply Chest will spawn near the edge of this area. Go ahead and open it before proceeding to the next place.
When you are finished with the previous brother, travel back to the main land and go to the Polyphemos Windmills just to the south of Silver Moon Grove. There, you will meet Fratello, who will give you a different challenge this time around.
Here, you will turn into an entity called Cuddle Wuddle, and your task will be to smash the Seamrock. The instructions are fairly straightforward, but if you need a summary, here is what you need to do:
Press the button whenever the pointer is in the yellow highlighted part of the circle.
Eventually, the highlighted area will turn orange, and hitting it will start the next phase (“Time for Powerful Punches!”).
After hitting the orange highlight, you will now have to alternate two buttons (left and right) quickly to punch the rock even faster.
Once you reach the part where you have to rapidly press left and right, you have to keep alternating between them as fast as possible to smash the rock before the timer runs out. If you did it right, a short cutscene where Cuddle Wuddle breaks the rock should play out.
When you are done smashing the rock, speak to Fratello once more and then claim the Advanced Supply Chest nearby to complete this step.
Finally, go back to the Resonance Beacon at Polyphemos Windmills. Rather than going down the cliff, just jump northwest of where the beacon is and you will find another Fratello NPC standing near the edge.
This one is a simple time trial. Just fly and glide towards the highlighted areas before the timer runs out. You have around a whole minute for each segment, so it is almost impossible to fail this.
Once you make it to the final point at Silver Moon Grove, Fratello will be waiting there. Beside a Resonance Beacon (which you should unlock too). He will tell you that you beat his record and reward you with, you guessed it, an Advanced Supply Chest that will materialize right beside him.
When you have successfully finished the last challenge, regardless of the order you followed, The Three Fratellis’ Challenge part of the Whisperwind Haven exploration objectives should now be completed. There are many more to do in this region, so get to exploring!
