Wuthering Waves: Use Ranged Attacks to Interrupt the Roseshroom’s Charging State

You’ll need to use ranged attacks to interrupt a Roseshroom’s charging state as an objective for “Dream Patrol: Eye for an Eye” in Wuthering Waves.

However, the game is actually pretty unclear on what it means by “ranged attacks”. If you’ve tried to use basic attacks from pistol-wielding Resonators, you might have already noticed that doesn’t work. So then, what does the game really want!?

Well, read on and we’ll tell you everything you need to use ranged attacks and interrupt the Roseshroom’s charging state in Wuthering Waves.

Use Ranged Attacks to Interrupt the Roseshroom’s Charging State | Dream Patrol: Eye for an Eye

To start, go to the “Dream Patrol: Eye for an Eye” node in Fagaceae Peninsula, Rinascita. It’s northeast of the Oakheart Highcourt, so it’s pretty easy to spot. We recommend bringing a pistol-wielding Resonator like Mortefi or Carlotta, though they’re not really mandatory.

Now, we recommend destroying the Young Roseshrooms as soon as you start the challenge. They are the small Roseshrooms, as you might guess. Taking them out quickly makes it easier for you to focus on interrupting the Roseshroom’s attacks!

Then, wait for the Roseshroom to enter its charging state. You’ll notice that it pricks up and starts pointing at you. This is also signaled by a red laser aimed straight at you. As soon as you see the Roseshroom assume that stance, enter manual aiming mode. You can do this with any pistol-wielding Resonator or your Hoverdroid: Shooter utility.

Aim straight at the glowing core on the Roseshroom’s head and shoot it. A single shot should instantly interrupt the Roseshroom’s charge, knocking it down. Even if you use a Lv.1 Resonator, just landing the shot is enough! The objective should instantly be marked as completed, as well.
