You’ll reach the Oakheart Highcourt as you progress through the Rinascita region in Wuthering Waves, but you can’t enter its Lower Tier unless you unlock it.

Unlocking the Oakheart Highcourt Lower Tier mostly requires you to know how the Lifer’s puzzle works. Play it just right and you’ll open a specific door leading to the lower tier.

In this guide, we’ll tell you everything you need to know to enter the Lower Tier of the Oakheart Highcourt whenever you please!

Lifer's Puzzle Location | Wuthering Waves: How to Unlock Oakheart Highcourt Lower Tier

There are two ways to unlock the Oakheart Highcourt Lower Tier area in Wuthering Waves. We’ll first go over the normal intended way.

For this, first go to the Oakheart Highcourt Resonance Beacon and get to the middle of the circular maze. You want to reach the Lifer’s puzzle game in the center.

Start the puzzle

The Lifer’s puzzle is part of the Traces of Tides VIII quest. If you need help with that quest, we have a guide dedicated to it as well.

Black Piece on the top right

Once you reach the Lifer’s puzzle, you need to move the black pieces so that there’s one on the top-right corner of the circle. It should look like the one in the image above.

Storage room path

This will open the southeastern door leaving the puzzle room. Go through it and run all the way to the end to reach a sort of storage room. Do be careful, though, there are many enemies in the way!

Shelf and blocks

Once you enter the storage room, check the southeastern corner. You should spot a pit blocked by a bookcase and some blocks. Use a strong Echo transformation, such as the Cuddle Wuddle, to break the rocks.

With the blocks gone, you can now jump into the pit. Note that there’s a Sonance Casket partway down the pit, too. Make sure to grab it while you fall!

Bottom of the pit

Keep going down the linear path in the pit until you reach the very bottom, which has a Tidal Supply Chest for you to claim. Then interact with the pedestal that has a yellow glowing orb to open the gate and fully unlock the Oakheart Highcourt Lower Tier.

Alternate Method

If you don’t want to deal with the Lifer’s puzzle and all of that, you can unlock the Oakheart Highcourt Lower Tier by using its Secret Entrance in Wuthering Waves. The secret entrance is on the eastern part of the Oakheart Court. You’ll also need short Resonators, such as Carlotta or Verina for this method!

Secret entrance from the outside

For reference, the image above shows the secret entrance from the outside.

Gate in the cave

Go into the secret entrance and then go all the way south in the cave.

Carlotta is tiny

You should reach a gate blocking you from reaching a Tidal Supply Chest. Normally, you would need to deal with the Lifer’s puzzle to go into that blocked-off area. However, there’s a small gap you can go through on the left corner of the gate. That’s where your shorter Resonator comes in!

Swap to whichever is your shortest Resonator here and you’ll be able to go through the gap. We can confirm that Carlotta and Verina fit through the gap, but we doubt they’re the only ones. Encore should also be able to fit, for example.

Looting the cave

Either way, this allows you to loot the Tidal Supply Chest and interact with the pedestal to open the gate. All that without having to deal with the Lifer’s shenanigans…

So, there you have it, that’s how you unlock the Lower Tier of the Oakheart Highcourt in Wuthering Waves. Whether you wish to go through the normal method or want to sneak in, you’re all set now!
